Amazon Basics Cleanser Face Wash - Renewing Salicylic Acid with Ceramides & Vitamin D, 8 fl oz, 1-Pack

In all honesty, I don't ask a lot from a facial cleanser, except to clean well and not leave my skin feeling weird in any way. I let after-shower products do the work my skin needs. This one got my attention, tho, because of the salicylic acid and the good value. I know salicylic acid doesn't irritate my skin, and the extra exfoliation will help. And unlike other exfoliating products I might forget to use, like before bed or in the morning, I have to clean my face in the shower. So check off two boxes - I won't forget to exfoliate and it's not costing me a lot. The product is a clear gel, sort of, but not too thick, and has no scent (love that). It leaves my skin feeling clean with no dryness or weird residue. I haven't used it enough to prove any discernable difference is definitely because of the cleanser. I'll be back here with an update if I do. For now, I simply like it. Unless I find something better, and at the same or better price point, I'm sticking with this cleanser.

I really like this cleanser, especially for the price point. I found it really gentle on skin and it’s not overly foamy. It’s fragrance free, which is great, and I’ve noticed it has definitely improved my skin texture. I would buy this again!

Product itself is GREAT. Cleans well and skin feels soft after use. Skin feels and looks better since using. HOWEVER...The dispenser is a huge problem. Took forever to free the pump to be able to use product. VERY DIFFICULT. Once opened, it takes considerable strength to push the pump to get any product out. Description says product is foaming. Foaming from dispenser or when applied to face? Does not foam from dispenser and very little foam when applied to face. Will have to pour product into a different container or find a pump to replace existing pump. Not sure if I will purchase again because of the container.

I bought this product because I am prone to sebaceous cysts behind my ears and I have HS. I've been using it for about 2 months and let me just say...it works! Not only have I not had ANY new cysts come up, but it has also shrunken and gotten rid of what I had without giving me deeply pitted scars. It is legitimately an overnight difference without drying my skin out. 10/10, will repurchase.

Gentle yet powerful cleanser for my sensitive and acne prone skin. It leaves my skin soft and clear. It produces a really good lather and rinses cleanly without stripping and making my skin dry. I highly recommended!!

I tried it again and I don't know what's wrong with the pump. It just doesn't pump! The facial wash is good. I don't like that it takes more product to get enough coverage to wash my face. It's hard to explain but it's almost like it doesn't have enough moisture. I have to add some water to my hands to be able to move around my face and since the pump doesn't work well I have to pull it up after each pump. Waste of time.😢

This stuff works wonders for getting rid of stubborn skin texture and keeping breakouts at bay. Just be careful not to get it on your lips as it will dry them out. This product is also great if you have oily skin, as it helps to reduce this, but also works wonders for comedonal acne.

This works great! I needed a replacement for my cetaphil salicylic acid cleanser after my local store stopped stocking it. This one works just as well. I have normal skin type, and my acne is hormonal only.
