Read the reviews on this, and spend the extra money for a faster processor, I wish I would have.I read the reviews but thought for the price it would be fine for my kids to use for internet and homework. I was wrong, this PC runs as slow or if not slower than the 5 year old laptop we were replacing.Spend the extra money to get another laptop unless you don’t mind the screen freezing and taking forever to get you from one website to another.It took about 20-30 minutes to install, and just 10 minutes of screen freezing and waiting to decide to return it.

Seriously I don't understand the negative comments. This was easy to set up and works great. Went from a very old dying Apple lap top and just didn't want to cough up $800 to $1400 for a new one. Eventually I will but this is perfect for my simple needs email, correspondence, shopping, photo projects, a little art work and stuff with graphics, research and animal videos its great. No gamer am I and not that tech savvy but I prod along till I figure it out. I run our property business on it, write up ads etc..seems pretty good for $160. I will probably have to get some better security set up, need to go back and read what other techies recommended that is the most daunting thing about this and frankly any computer these days.

Windows 10S is awful! Stay away. (Well Windows 10 is not my preferred OS anyway!)Not responsive enough, even for simple tasks (Edge + Outlook). Probably due to a cheap CPU.SSD and memory size is probably ok for very basic use and heavy use of cloud storage.Screen / Construction: Acceptable for this price. Would be curious to see if this rig wouldn't work better with an i3.

I write a blog, and I use my computer every day. I knew this computer did not have a ton of memory so I have utilized the cloud to store pictures, articles etc. I had some small issues at first and I was scared it was the computer so I got the microsoft folks on the chat and they helped me out. The only issue I have is that I cannot get pictures from my android phone to the computer no matter that I do... so I have to save to one drive then save to the blog. That is by far my only complaint. Microsoft could not fix it, and I am no tech savvy enough to fix it myself. That is the only reason it got a 4 and not a 5

I have been using for a few days. I am primarily a mac person but needed something small and compact purely to link up to some lap equipment as the software is only for PCs. I think for the price this seems to fit the bill very well. It has wifi so I can surf the net and send my data files which is nice. The big thing for me was finding something at this price point that has TWO USB ports for my equipment which this one does. Many laptops in this range only have one. Resolution is nice, good lighting and speed for its purpose is actually quite good.

I bought this to take the bar exam on. It performed well for that.I only downloaded the exam software. I typed a few word documents of notes with Microsoft. Nothing else.I don’t use it much now. It’s very slow. Tried to do my taxes on it and lagged simply typing in numbers!I am not tech-savy. But for only $200 and not crashing during my exam, I’ll say I’m glad I bought it. But would I recommend you buying this? No.

Came 1/2 charged and with no power cord?!?Not sure what happened but it wasn’t in the box.The laptop seemed ok other than that but ran VERYYY slow trying to connect to anything online

I have a total of 10 HP Stream computers (the blue) and ordered two of these in white. I only run Microsoft Excel for work & dropbox. Since purchasing these in March 2019, one has completely died & been trashed. The 2nd one now runs extremely slow & the cord gets VERY hot. It's likely this one will stop working in the next month or so. Will not purchase another HP Stream or another laptop from this seller. Wish I had purchased from Amazon directly & not a 3rd party seller because they are useless. Moving forward I'll be purchasing from Best Buy.
