Papa kNows his stuff
Papa knows his stuff. This cookbook is written with Joshua's voice, it is true to himself. If you enjoy his videos, you will enjoy this cookbook. The pages are really high quality and adding texture to the book was a GREAT idea. The recipes are easily followed and well written, I have tried quite a few and nothing beats them.

Great gift for intermediate chefs!
Some merch books can be really cheaply made, I don’t find this to be the case at all. Pages are thick, cover is durable, and the content is high quality.

Not my papa
I bought this as a gift for my significant other and he wasn’t as into as he thought he would be. The recipes were basic and some could just as easily be found on his YouTube.

Get This Book!
Let me start by saying I have ALOT of cookbooks. I bought the first book to add to my collection and I absolutely loved it. The recipes i have tried have always been absolutely delicious. I especially love how approachable he makes bread and dough which i find intimidating. When Josh announced a second book I pre ordered it right away. I've now read it cover to cover and I can truly say it's one of a kind. The concept of texture is one I hadn't given that much thought to. I love that the book mixes basics with unique and more interesting recipes. My favorite part of the book are the vibrant pictures. I love seeing what the dishes are supposed to look like before attempting a recipe. I can say so much more but all in all if you've seen Josh's YouTube videos you know the book is fire. If not go subscribe to his YouTube channel and buy the book.
