Excellent product works really well

We ordered ALITOVE AC to DC Converter 12V 5A 60W 100-240V power supply specifically for its 12V Car Lighter Socket adapter. Tested on my meter it generates a consistent 12V and is succesful in our specific application which is to power a tracking telescope mount. Paired with our 75wHr batter pack with a built in inverter, we now can choose between the lighter outlet in the car or the battery. I would say that the 12V side feels a bit flimsy or underated cable and the 12V supply to mains cable is a little too stiff. Durability will only be learned over time. Very pleased so far!

If you have and love your old “Garmin”, you probably look at alternative routes, etc. I would rather do this is the Apt. With A/C. Tada! This provides indoor power for Garmin, and other traveling devices. Pretty Useful, perhaps a bit of a “narrow” group of uses for me, but avoid high heat and humidity and perhaps wasting gasoline.

Does not maintain 12v, so basically worthless. It drops down to 6 volts, shutting off item plugged in to it

This product does everything it claims. It drives audio equipment without any hum or whine. And it really shines with high-current devices. I plugged in my 13-amp tire inflator and there were no problems whatsoever. No fuses blown. No compressor slow-down. With four tires and multiple readings, there was a lot of stop and restarts with the inevitable current surge with each restart. This unit handled it all without any problems. It just worked and worked well. After bad experiences with less robust alternatives this unit is truly worth the price.
