Tarot of the Vampires

I'm very pleased with this deck. The cards are beautiful and represent very well the archetypes of the tarot, but in a vampiric universe. Only The Sun, on first sight, looks more like The Tower. Still an incredibly beautiful deck. The cards are bright and colourful, they also slide very well. And the guidebook is also very nice.

Nice sturdy box. If you are interested in vampires look no further, this deck is like you stepped into your favourite film. Great image’s and really good guidebook. Highly recommend.

This deck is clearly a labour of love from both the author and the artist. It's a vivid, fast paced dive into contemporary vampire lore as seen in TV, film, comics and novels post Anne Rice. This is a deck of vampires who exist between that hazy realm between heaven and the underworld. They're moral vampires who feel a duty to a larger destiny.This deck will particularly resonate with millennials who grew up watching vampires in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Underworld, True Blood and Vampire Diaries. It also feels very in line with early 2000s Urban Fantasy from the likes of Laurel K Hamilton and Karen Chance.The deck slyly references some of the above but not overtly. These are new characters in line with these familiar archetypes. The major arcana cleverly sees the journey of a human woman's transformation into a vampire.There's a lot of fun storytelling happening in this deck and in the guidebook. I particularly liked comparing the progression of the twos in the minor arcana to the tens. As each of those cards almost shows a beginning and an ending.This deck has a fantastic guidebook, written very clearly and concisely. I particularly enjoyed the vampy blessing ritual included. I also loved the storytelling paragraph that the writer included for each card. It gives you a real sense of world building and just fun urban fantasy novel vibes.This deck reads beautifully and follows the RWS closely with its own take here and there.

This deck is great. The book is 201 pages long. There's about a page of information about each card. It doesn't go into a whole lot of detail about vampires, but it did Introduce me to energy vampires. Each card goes into details about the card. There's a small section for reversed readings. The cards ripple shuffle easily & you can hold them easily if you have small hands.

Fantastic. The images are just a piece of art, bright, captivating and very meaningful (on the basis of RWT). The cardstock is very decent. The box is great and very sturdy. The cards are a little bit on a thin side, but it's ok. Very smooth and shuffles easily. The guidebook is stunning with colourful images and lots of useful information.
