High quality
Bought these as gifts for my boys (hunters). They look and feel more expensive than they are. They loved them. This is a great skinner. In my opinion, it has limited use. Skinner!!!

Beautiful knife!
I just received this beautiful knife. I couldn't be happier. I already have an EDC/Bushcraft Damascus knife of similar length and sturdiness. I just might have to switch to this knife as my EDC! I love it!

Wrong blade shape
The knife I received today had a different blade shape than the one pictured. Very disappointing because I really liked the knife shown. Overall a very well made knife. Good quality knife, fit and finish beautifully done, fits great in the hand but with some slight rolling. Overall a beautiful knife, but the blade shape didn’t match what was pictured.

Craftmanship
Would have been a decent knife if the manufacture had seated the handle pins and brass insert. each sets above the handle. The sheath does not match the knife contour and is just a fit all. Not sure what the handle is made of but appears to be a composite.

Beautiful handle with a well-made sheath and it comes sharp as well. Let the video speak for itself.
The media could not be loaded. The Hunting knife by Prime Damascus, is a well-made knife with an attractive handle and quality leather sheath, that’s worth your consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.I. Quality – It feels like everything is good quality and very well made, with a handmade kind of look. I’d guess this one should hold up very well over time.II. Performance – It comes very sharp and ready for action, other than needing to clean off a ton of protectant oil. Its wrapped and oiled very good to make sure it arrives beautiful and rust free. The leather sheath was done right and the knife fits very snug inside. I wish they’d put some kind of buffer on the back of the button, so it won’t scratch the beautiful wood handle over time, but they never do.Overall, this is a beautiful knife for my collection that will get looked at and appreciated often. They did a very god job with it for this level of cost. If you like it on the screen, it looks even better in person. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it.If you’d find it helpful to see an up-close visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.

my favriite fixie as of today.
i have a lot of knives i wont lie, a good portion of witch are fixed and ill just say it now i love this knife a lot its my numuro uno, its on my belt right now in fact haha. they finish on both the handle and blade are shockingly good...like really good, the ad. pics do it no justice at all. it does also seem to be that the blade is laminated. it has that all to telling faint two tone right at the edge, i could be wrong don't hold me to it but i really do believe it is. i can go either way on a laminated blade it hasn't been a negative or positive in my beating of my blades (i am not nice at all to any of them) for instance this knife has been wonderful to throw across the entire yard...oh man does it have a satisfying thhhuDDDD when it hits a seasoned fir round. It comes very sharp and the grind is very even on either side. i have one gripe and it could tell you about a mfg. when they make an outstanding knife and put it into a fake leather sheath, (ugh source an aftermarket in this case, the knife is indeed worth it) i mean please we don't mind the extra few dollars to use real meat... we are knife people right? just saying.

Poor blade quality
The knife looks nice but the quality of the blade is very poor. Although it is sharp it got rusty or stained within days of purchase.

Good quality-tough - durable knife. Big handle- shorter blade for high torque cutting and chopping.
Good solid quality- heavy duty materials and constructed tightly and definitely made for cleaver style bone and tendon chopping- with a large easy to grip handle and a shorter- thick blade that can take heavy chopping and high torque cutting. Great little -game - field prepping, knife and with the good fitting leather sheath- looks to be durable and with a little touch of a stamped design on the sheath- and the green wood dyed layers in the handle- looks healthy and powerful. I definitely have bigger, longer knives with longer blades that are used for my main game prep needs- but this little finishing knife will be right there with me also. Great find and I will use it- not a toolbox knife! Honing and cleaning the blade and off we go. Thanks for a great little knife!
