Easy to program to the cat. Seems to work well. Good options to only allow out, in only, both ways, locked.AA batteries needed, not sure how long they will last.

It’s been great but now is not working - do you repair them

The media could not be loaded.  We fitted this in the smaller pane of glass at the front of our house.I removed the trim and the double glazing panel.I then purchased some clear acrylic sheet (15mm thick) cut to size (leave a few mm shy for expansion) this was siliconed in and then the trim placed back over.This left it easier to cut with a jigsaw rather than trying to cut glass/ pay a glazier ££££s.The holes were pre drilled on a slow rpm on the drill so the acrylic doesn’t break.If we leave / sell this house we can remove the flap and pane of glass and replace it easily.Where it’s positioned beside the curtain also means there’s no draft- not that we could feel one because it’s in a sheltered enough area outside.Our youngest cat (8 months) got used to this straight away. The 9 year old took a while to get used to the loud click when it recognises the chip and unlocks. He’s now using it no problem (approx 3 weeks) Our 12 year old cat still hasn’t got used to it (2 months now) but that’s just her temperament.Excuse the dirt of the flap in the photos- it gets used quite a bit!I would recommend this as we didn’t quite realise how much our cats wanted in and out of the house, it’s easy to fit (using method above) It’s a fair price as it’s well made.The unlock click does startle the cat. You’ll have to force them through it a few times then slowly hold them in position near it and they’ll get used to it themselves.Also make sure to test it on your cat to make sure it works ok before fitting!

I've bought 2 of these in the last 3 years. Never had issues with cats coming into my house before but after moving to a new area, I had to have a sensor flap. The first one failed after 2 years, and I was constantly changing the batteries on it. It was rendered useless after one day leaving the "stoppers" in a retracted position, allowing it to become permanently open and accessible to other cats. I replaced it with the same model which seems significantly better on battery life and so assumed the first was faulty. I've had it a year, and again it has failed. The sensor appears to recognise the cat and you can hear the clicking sound, but the stoppers sont retract at all this time, meaning my cats are stuck outside until i can ioen the door. Completely useless and obviously a problem with the unit itself

The cat flap is great, it does what we wanted it to do, which is keep other cats out, unfortunately it’s a bit too good, as our cat will not use it to come in, she is scared of the clicking noise it makes when it has read the chip and releases the latch. She uses it go outside absolutely fine, as we had a cat flap before, so it’s not like she has to learn that, but stuck on how to help her come in, I have tried lots of treats, I’ve held it open and she comes in like that, but will not use it on her own. Any suggestions?

The media could not be loaded.  Its great that the product keeps other cats out however it not great value for money. Personally i feel let down by the productThe catflap lets a draft in even though there's a draft strip installed round the edge of the flap. Because there is a gap im not sure how this is going to effect my heating bill in the winter.The product is very easy to install and the cats do love it after it took them some time getting use to it.I've attached a video to show the gaps.

Needed a microchip access catflap as another cat was coming into the house and stressing out cat. Good simple instructions that worked... pleasant surprise. Cat was a bit wary at first especially as the device makes a loud clicking sound but worked it out and now comes and goes with no issues.

Trying to talk to the seller to explain the product is defective it’s not working and I just get a robot and I cannot talk to anybody and it keeps telling me that my product does not qualify for a refund or a return

I purchased this product as a replacement for an existing pet door because we were regularly getting raccoons in house (eating pet food and whatever else they could find). Installation was a bit more involved in my case due to different size of the existing cutout in the laundry room door, but this was unrelated to the product itself. I was able to successfully match to our cat's chip, though that did take a little doing; I definitely advise programming before installation (as the instructions suggest) because cats generally don't like being shoved into an opening and help there while the reader reads the chip - easier when they are lying on a bed, etc.The real challenge I had was that the local raccoon population figured out how to get through the door more quickly than my cat. I'm uncertain whether they are able to get their claws under the edge of the door and simply pull it open, but that seems most likely. We are back to locking the laundry room door at night and letting the cat out at 2am when he cries.The product otherwise functions as promised; in our case at least it simply didn't provide the security we were hoping for.

Très bon produit,facile à installer sur une porte en bois. Fonctionne à merveille..... Maintenant, il faut que mon chat se familiarise au passage par là !

L'idea del microchip è geniale! Così teniamo fuori qualsiasi altro gatto e la nostra gatta può correre dentro al riparo quando qualcosa non le garba.Montaggio fatto su vetro da un vetraio e semplice l'istallazione del microchip.

Relativ leicht einzubauen. Chip funktioniert super. Leicht zu reinigen. Keine Beanstandungen nach einem halben Jahr.
