This ice roller is exactly what you would expect it to be. It comes with a nice, ergonomic handle and 2 special ice rollers that you chill in the freezer and clip into the handle when you are ready to use it. Then, you simply roll it on your face or anywhere where there is swelling. It offers compression with an icy finish, so the idea is to reduce puffiness and improve your skin's appearance. The idea is great, but I don't know if this actually reduces wrinkles or has any sort of permanent anti-aging effects. While ice does have a preservative effect, you really only feel it temporarily when you stop using it. And any perceived anti-aging effects are most likely placebo. However, it does feel VERY NICE to use. Where I live, it gets to be about 35C so we are just constantly burning out here in the sun. I found myself using the ice roller a lot just for the cooling relief! The ice roller does not drip, either, so you don't need to worry about excess condensation and sweating like with regular ice. For the cooling and convenience, I would definitely say this is worth it if you are not inclined to just use an ice pack.

Do not buy these as they have mold inside the pieces. It looks like black beads when I initially opened them but upon looking at other reviews there’s nothing black in the pictures. I can’t really see inside unless I cut them open but they look like mold. It also smelled bad as it melted. Returning!! this is disgusting!

I ordered this for my daughter who is always complaining of heat. She often pours water on her head to cool down and I thought that she might appreciate this. Oddly, she doesn't like it when it has condensation on it - which confuses me because of dripping water from her hair... It is easy to use and definitely cools you down. I believe it is supposed to minimize pores, as well. When you first take it out of the freezer to use, it does get a lot of condensation on it and is rather wet. When it cools off a little then it is not so wet and just feels cold against your skin. It works well for what it is, I am just not sure how much I will use it. It comes with two gel rollers, so it can be used for a longer time by easily changing the rollers out. Made in China.
