Not bad, but I wish ...
I got these wrist weights because of a rotator cuff injury I got last summer. I went through a long series of PT sessions. All those sessions got very expensive, so I set up a small workout area in my basement at home to continue the PT exercises. I needed a set of 1-lb wrist weights and a set of 2-lb wrist weights. I found a pair of 1-lb weights under another vendor, but they did not have a matching 2-lb set. And the matching 1-lb weight to these wrist weights was in a very fetching purple. At the risk of sounding like a caveman ... there is no way I am going to have wrist weights in that color. So, I got the 1-lb set from the other vendor and I got these wrist weights for my 2-lb set.Actually, for the purposes of this review, it allows a very good comparison between the two types. Both sets do their job just fine. However, small things that would be nice to know about this 2-lb set are ...1. There are two wrist weights, and each is a mirror image of the other. The wrist weights are not marked as 'right' or 'left', but rather 'A' or 'B'. The weights are interchangeable between wrists, so 'right' or 'left' is moot. However, every time I put on a wrist weight, I have a few seconds of confusion about how to arrange it on my wrist, because it is designed to be worn on either wrist, but arranged differently on each. Maybe you won't have that confusion :-).2. I wanted to hang these wrist weights on a hook on the wall. The 1-lb set allows that, as it has a metal loop on the back, and two spaced nails hold it without straining the fabric. However, this 2-lb set has only the thumb hole available for that purpose. Hanging this 2 lb weight on a single nail strains the fabric, so I ended up laying them on a shelf. That's fine I guess, but I wanted to hang each set next to the other, so that everything was all in one place. A minor detail, but it was a little irritating.3. I have small wrists for a guy, and these weights slide around on my wrists. They can't be tightened enough to be snug. It's weird that these weights are obviously targeted to women (the colors), but they won't fit a typical woman's wrist properly. If the items above do not affect your decision, this is a good item. I have no real problems with these weights and have been using them for about five months, on a daily basis. They work fine.

Wonderful addition to my walks!!!
A bit of background:My arms are basically just bone with a bit of flesh thrown loosely on top. My arms have always been almost comically weak, and exercising them has been a sore chore I have avoided since childhood. However, walking, jogging, rollerblading, bike riding, etc have always been things I do on a daily basis. From this, my legs are tone and very nice!!! And while I take great pride in my legs, there is... certainly a stark, noticeable contract between them and my arms. I look uneven!!! As a young lady (20) I want to look and feel my best, and evening out my body in terms of both appearance and health has become a priority. After researching what to do about this, I decided I wanted to incorporate some wrist weights into my walks and jogs, etc. I really loathe working out my arms, so the idea of building tone slowly while still doing the same activities I've always done was really appealing to me. So after further research and reading reviews here on amazon, I decided to buy The Reebok Toning Thumb-Lock Wrist Weight in Yellow (4lbs; 2 lbs each)The Fit:At first, I found them difficult to put on and fit correctly. My wrist is only 6" wide, and very boney, so when I put them on as they were in the picture they slid around a lot and were uncomfortable. I felt as it was cutting off circulating to my thumb, and it dug into that bit of flesh between the thumb and forefinger. After fiddling around with them, I found that wearing them on the opposite hands, so the larger diagonal part of the thumb-lock was across the back of my hand instead of my palm, was much much better!!! This way it doesn't slide around or dig in, and my thumb doesn't feel all numb and tingly. So if you're having a similar problem, try wearing them this way =DDuring Walks:They are wonderful!!! I like to put my elbows in front of me and keep them stationary as I bend my arms toward my shoulders and then back down as I walk. I think it's called a bicep curl??? But really it's the same motion one would do with a dumbbell haha. It sounds simple, but you REALLY feel it!!! At first, I could only do this for a couple minutes before my arms couldn't take anymore (at which I would revert to moving my arms as I typically would while walking) After using these for a week now, I can do it for much much longer. Success!!!Other workouts:I extend my arms outward at shoulder height (so my body resembles a T) and rotate them in tiny circles. 10 in one direction, 10 in the other. This MURDERS my triceps, but it's going to be so worth it!!! I do this during the day, or to stretch my arms before going swimming. This is a really great product, and as long as you are doing leisurely activities like this I would certainly recommend it!!!

Easy to put on, good staying power, questionable longevity.
These Reebok wrist weights are a great addition to your workouts, and are well thought out.The Reeboks are done in a spongy and stretchy material with green accents and filled with what feels like sand. They are nicely made and feel like they will hold up to multiple workouts well.Putting the wrist weights on is easy, you simply slip your thumb through the hole, wrap the weight tightly around your wrist, and use the velcro to secure it in place. Since the weights are made of a slightly stretchy material you can stretch them out a bit while wrapping them around your wrist so they will have a very snug fit. My wrist is quite narrow for a man, (I usually wear my watches on the second to last watch strap hole) but there was lots of room to adjust them larger or smaller. Indeed, I let my very petite mother try them on and they fit her nicely as well. Lastly, they are very comfortable when worn.Still, no matter how tightly I fit them they slid up and down a little bit when I moved my arms vigorously, especially as I sweated a bit while I worked out. Despite that, I never felt like they were going to slide off since the velcro stayed secured, and the thumb hole prevented them from spinning. When I use them I am usually rollerblading or doing the Gold's Gym Dance Workout for Wii, which involves a lot of fast arm swinging in all directions. All in all...a great set of wrist weights that hold up to vigorous workout.5/30/2013 Update: After being used less than a dozen times one of the weights has started to develop some tearing in the fabric. It's minor at this point, but disconcerting.

Solid Workout Weights
I used them for martial arts session: the item is great and exactly as described, with 2lbs weights per side, with a great thumb lock design and secure velco (they've only once came appart on their own and I was wearing it on my ankle at the time and practicing kicks.)Didn't get a five star from me just because they're not perfect for me personally. I have very slender wrists and even with the thumb hole they still manage to slide around unless I grab the edge of the hem on my fingers while making a fist. So for things like throwing punches, blocks or any movement where the hands are moving rapidly, it can get a bit tiresome. For regular exercise such as running, weightlifting, etc. they're much more obedient.Like with any wrap weight, the best part is taking them off after a long time wearing them: you just feel so light!

Perfect for toning!
Bought for a gift, but ended up getting an exact pair for myself. These are great, they stay in place and not too heavy so I can do my whole workout with them on for the extra upper body strengthening.

Good product.
This product was exactly what I wanted it to be - a little extra weight for the workouts I wanted to do. It shipped really fast and I like that I can use them without the worry about them falling off my hands. I have really small hands so I wanted to be sure. They are comfortable and easy to put on.

Great
I love this wrist weights. They really pump up my exercise. They are not too heavy and they are not too light that it makes no difference to my exercise routine.

Great product
I just purchased 3 pairs of these for myself, my mom and my sister. We walk every night and wanted to add some wrist weights. These fit great and the thumb holes keep them in place. They are great to wear on walks and I've been wearing mine around the house too. I would definitely recommend this product.
