Size 10 waist adjusts (Slim & Regular); Atlas is faded; Icecap is traditional denim
I've ordered these for my son twice. He's just between 10 Slim and 10 Regular, and I've got one of each size here. 10 Regular measures 25" x 25" for those who'd like to know. These 514 are Levi's traditional quality and include the brown paper label that mimics the leather labels of years' past. (FYI Levi "Signature" series jeans are made for discount retailers like Target or Walmart and lack the distinctive label.)Our 10 Slim pair is in color "Icecap." That "color" looks like traditional blue jean denim to me. Those do not have any faked "fading" or intentional abrasions, tears, or holes. Personally, that's the look I prefer. Also, I'm loathe to pay for clothing that will wear out faster due to intentional damage at the factory! That said, the "Atlas" pair I got yesterday were on sale at a single digit price in my son's size when I ordered. For that price, I will tolerate looking at my son in jeans that were manufactured to fail sooner. At least the "wear pattern" is up at the top in front of the pockets. His untucked shirts will hide the scuffs most of the time, and it is the knees that tend to wear out from daily use around here. There are slight manufactured "bent knee wear lines" on the backs of the knees, but the crucial (for functionality) front areas seem whole and sound."Atlas" is otherwise a slightly lighter blue than full dyed traditional denim, and the abrading has a yellowish tint. They don't look like full on faded denim from the 1980's or anything; I wonder if the yellow/green tint is specifically to avoid the more dated suggestion of that shade of sky blue denim? In size 10 (Regular and Slim) these 514 jeans in both Atlas and Icecap still include waist adjustment elastic tabs on the inner waistband.Packaging is a basic plastic bag with the sticky strip (you don't have to tear it open.) There are two paper tags attached via those annoying little plastic bits that leave scratchy nubs if you don't remove carefully. There's one adhesive strip sizing label on the right rear leg just below the back pocket.

Please Read. About sizing.
I GAVE THIS RATING TO GET YOUR ATTENTIONWell, I have to wait and see, as I ordered another pair in a different colour because the first pair fits him rather good -- and it's been ages since I've found Levi's in the SLIM size, as now all I get when I look for his size (14slim) I get redirected to slimmer styles. Very frustrating, especially since they still carry HUSKYS in all styles, slim or not. Even on Levi's website (I was checking to see if they carry them. They do not.) But just now, as I looked at my orders, I came back to check out other colours, and for some reason I read the description, which I hadn't bothered to before. I know what my son wears in Levi's, so why should I? I think this might clear up the variances in sizes; the description says they are:. "DescriptionInspired by the slim straight 514™ jean, this down-sized version has a close fit through seat and thigh as well as a hidden adjustable waist"So it seems they may not be actual Levi's. I've posted the question, and I'll be waiting for the response. In the mean time, this might be the cause of the sizing issues, so I wouldn't blame Levi's just yet.

The jeans looked great but run too small
We ordered a size 18 for my very skinny 14 year old. His other jeans in this brand are all size 16 and fit in the waist but they had gotten too short. So I figured the next step up from 16 was 18. They were just too tight. I’d definitely measure their waist when they get to this size before buying. We opted to move into a mens smaller waist/ length jean instead. Nice jeans but these ran too small for us.

Perfect Jeans for Slim Boys
I purchased a pair of these jeans for my son (who is athletic and lean) two years ago while on vacation and have searched high and low for them ever since. They are hard to find and I have paid double the price. If you have a slim boy and can never find pants that fit... look no further. My son is athletic and slim, so I buy him the "Slims"- a must. If he is on the lean side, but not really thin, buy the regular cut. I love that they are not too baggy in the waist and legs. They fit him perfectly and since it is Prime... consider it a bonus. I have noticed the Eastwood Slims are cut a tiny bit more slim in the hips than the other ones, such as Blurred and Pirate. Those are my favorite three in this line and my son loves them too!

Very Thin Lightweight Denim
I ordered these for my teen son in size 16S, which is a very hard size to find in stores. I don't like the goofy pants with the adjustable waist things in the waistband, which seem more for little kids, and Levi's are the only brand that has consistently offered jeans for skinny boys going back as far as I can remember. These fit fine, a tad loose, but the fabric is MUCH thinner than his last pair of 514s which was the standard denim weight. I don't like these as much for that reason but my son seems happy enough with them. They won't last like regular Levi's if your boy is rough on clothes. They also recommend line drying them in the care label but who line dries jeans? Crunch - eew! I strongly prefer the regular weight denim. I wouldn't have bought these had I known they were so thin. If you want traditional weight denim that washes well, and gets softer, and wears well over time look elsewhere. These are the thinnest denim I've ever seen. We ordered two: the darker wash and the grey - the grey is a nice alternative for a change.

Great value, fit, and look great
Excellent buy. Can’t beat this price on some very nice Levi’s. Fit my 13 year old that is about 115 and 5”5’. It’s hard to find pants that fit nicely and these do the trick! He also has a little growing room too.

The fit of these are for a king!
Levi's are for outings to school dinners and overall functionality reasons says my son. He would rather be hunting but when he is not he wears jeans and these are one of his favorites because he's really tall and built thin. The jeans featured here have worked perfectly fine for him. My better half always has my son wear jeans to dinner or movie etc. Overall they are all American and work well for my sons active lifestyle These Levi jeans are well made and fit great!
