Bought for my golf cart to have the batteries draw down at the same level. Works just fine. I bought a cheaper one the first time that lasted about a week then it started putting out 36 volts and blew my head lights and tail lights out. No problems with this one. thanks

Compact design!
Installed on my golf cart. The overall size is smaller than many which makes for more mounting location options. I like the terminal screw connections rather than a pig tail……again more efficient use of space. One thing worth noting is that it still consumes power when switched off so will create a drain on the battery of about 0.02 amps according to my coulomb meter.

Great Voltage Reducer
Nice and compact, and easily handles all the lighting as well as a 400w marine amplifier on my 48v Yamaha golf cart.

Worked perfect for my Yamaha Drive 2. Fits in the factory location and bolts right in.
Easy to wire in and works perfectly.

Great for my lithium golf cart
I run a 14S lithium pack on my golf cart. Fully charged (which I never do but potentially) my pack is 58.8v so this converter can handle that with some wiggle room. I normally charge to between 56.7v and 57.6V so this is perfect.Plenty of power to run my LED headlights, taillights, accessory 12v outlets and blue accent lights. I used to have a stereo in the cart and this would have run that too, but that stereo died due to water intrusion before the converter got here. The great thing about this is my cart has an onboard charger for the main pack so I only need an extension cord to charge every aspect of my cart. No longer having to plug a 12v charger into the cigarette lighter port to charge a 12v battery. Just one extension cord and it's all handled.Another thing I really like about this converter is the aluminum shell with fins built in. Amplifiers have had this for many, many years. Most converters on the market have short, blunt, fat fins that don't look like they'd dissipate much heat. This model has machined fins all the way around that can handle some heat. It also has an accessory turn on feature that lets me only turn on the converter when I need it to be on, thus preventing any parasitic draw that would be there otherwise.Absolutely recommended! If that changes I'll update my review.
