Lasted 10 years
Great bed in a pitch. Lasted ten years of use with about 15 nights of use each year on average . Seems to have a small leak now.

Looks great and sets up fast, but tough to find right firmness.
Opionion after using it: 105 lb kid used it and fell asleep right away on night #1. After 2nd night in it, complained of back pain because it was too stiff. 125 lb kid slept in it, night 1 was fine. Night 2, got out and slept somewhere else. Complained of back pain. I slept in it one night after some air had come out, so it was "squishy". My hips were in serious pain the next day. I think it might be good if you can find your personal preference for mattress firmness. There is still some scent coming off of it as my pillow smelled of plastic after I took it off the air mattress, but the small bedroom did not smell of plastic. I hope my senior citizen guest will do OK on it! Even though this sounds like a bad review, I really don't think another air mattress would be better., so I am reducing the rating to 3 stars.Opinion upon receipt: (originally gave it 5 stars)I ordered the Intex twin airbed with "flocked" top. 2 minutes to blow up. Easy instructions for the future. If the electricity is out, you can still use a manual or foot pump on this. Appears as in picture. I am sensitive to smell, and I don't detect any strong chemical or plastic scent. It fits the twin sheets I have. I think the flocked top helps to hold the sheet in place and I expect it will reduce body-to-plastic induced sweatiness as compared to the all-vinyl Intex version(which was only a few dollars cheaper). We will use this for guest bedding/overflow and for travel when the accommodations don't have enough beds or the hotel doesn't provide a roll-away.It's comfortable to lie on; much better than a pull-out couch or a basic cot or a cot with a mattress. It doesn't have an overly "bouncy" feeling that I recall from the blow up mattresses we had years ago. The higher sides make rolling out of bed less likely and comfortable sit-to-stand up (I'm 5'6"). The pillow top might be good for a back sleeper and nice on the neck, but a side sleeper will still need a pillow. I will never buy an airbed that is close to the ground again. Comes w/a carry/storage bag and repair patches.Kudos to Amazon & FedEx for having such a great arrangement that I got 2 out of 3 items ordered delivered to my door in LESS than 24 hours since I submitted my order--and with free shipping. WOW.Get this airbed if you want a twin size. Stop spending time looking around.

TEN STARS!!!
This is my third Intex air bed and they have never disappointed! The other two are still around, I just needed one to take to a friends beach condo which I will leave there. This is not a one of intex's tallest beds, but is the perfect height for being comfortable for guests or a spare bed while on vacation. If you are looking for a "guest bed" this one is perfect. You don't want your guests to be too comfortable or otherwise they would NEVER leave....and this one is pretty darn comfy so be careful... ha ha. I do have a 26" tall intex air-bed which could easily and comfortably used as a long-term bed, which is why this particular one at 19" is perfect for house guests or travel. I find that the shorter air beds don't get the rave reviews from my house guests like my taller one does. For the price (I paid $54 for this one) it just cannot be beaten! Why someone would pay up to $300 for an Aerobed is beyond me.This air bed, as with most Intex air beds, has a built in electric pump. It also has a raised "pillow" type bump on one end. I would have to say that this is probably my favorite intex air bed so far because the flocked side has a raised outside chamber which makes you less likely to roll off in the middle of the night. I always end up flipping the other two I have upside down because the flocked side on both of them is flat making them more prone to the dreaded "middle-of-the-night-roll-off". This one also comes with a patch kit. I have a cat and he loves to hop on and cuddle so inevitably he always punctures them at least once with his claws. If you follow the instructions on the patch kit the patch will last a lifetime. So, if you are in the market for an air-bed, for any reason or situation, save some $$ and GET AN INTEX. They have all the features as the other more expensive brands but the price is MUCH more reasonable. The ONLY thing that I wish intex would improve upon is to add the built in ability for the bed to automatically fold up and put itself away because they can be heavy and cumbersome to fold up and put back in their storage bag. And as far as I know I don't think the $300 air beds have robotic capabilities to do that either.
