These are so peak perfectly chewy so good i gained like 10 pounds bc i kept ordering them

I thought these were great. Vacuum sealed. Great texture when boiled. I really enjoy buying instant tteokbokki, but it’s costly (usually $5 for a single serving) so now I buy rice cakes and make my own sauce with gochujang/soy sauce/sugar/garlic. Add some green onions at the end and maybe melt some cheese. Homemade takes same amount of time as instant. Unless the price goes up, I will be buying these again.

I'm sure this will taste fine and I will enjoy it. I'm thankful that more Korean grocery items are available on Amazon. BUT. Be aware that these are baby size tteokbokki. By that I mean they are half as big as my pinky, and I have small hands. These are probably 1/4 inch wide and 1-1/2 inch long. The typical tteokbokki is around 1/2 in wide and 2-1/2 to 3 inches long. That won't change how they taste, but can change how long you need to cook them in recipes that are calling for regular sized tteokbokki.

First time to use Korean Rice Cakes and were pleased. Mixed with KFC bites and was a big hit.

I like most foreign foods, but I have to admit most of those I've tried were probably Americanified! I saw these on Korean TV and they looked the ultimate comfort food but I had little but the internet to make anything like the TV item. If I had the money and energy to go to Korea itself to try them--I'm al.ost 80 and not quite the person I used to be!--I'm sure my opinion would change. I've given the item a 3 because my disappointment is strictly my fault. Others may love them, so no low numbers.
