Very nice.
This works wonderful but, you get BIG Rosettes. I'm used to the smaller one's my Mom used to make so, to my surprise. Yeah, these were a lot bigger. Like other's have said. Once out of oil and in batter. Coat the iron just below the top portion of the iron so, it doesn't run over the top of the iron. This makes the process of them to not stick to the iron and allows them to fall off easy. My recipe called for 30 seconds on each side to fry but, mine were done on each side in only about 12 seconds without burning them. I love these cookies.

Almost….
This is close to the rosette iron that my grandmother used. My only complaint is that the “rose” cannot be tightened quite enough. I feel like I will strip the threads if I tighten it anymore than I have already. It made GREAT rosettes!!! My brother loved them!!!!Helpful reminder-Do not immerse the iron all of the way into the batter! (I forgot this trick with the first one. It’s been 35 years since my Nana and I made them!) If the batter gets on top, it seals onto the iron and will not release into the oil when it’s ready!

Didn’t work
Followed directions and recipe. Heated in hot oil but mix stuck to iron and would not release even the first waffle. Cooked on so badly that I had to soak in water to clean it. Had to throw out my batter. Disappointed me and my guests. Iron is not as tall as looks in picture only about 1/4 inch

So pretty
This was a lot of fun to use. I don’t do much frying but I had to make these. There was a little margin of error but I did get the hang of it. You really have to make sure you don’t dip too deep into the batter or it won’t come off nicely once it’s cooked. I just made pancake batter and used that. It worked great. You have to thin the batter a little. Just a sprinkle of powdered sugar and it’s delicious. They make a nice gift too. It’s a fun product. I recommend this item especially if you have kids. They seemed to love it!

Don't know what I did wrong.
I don't know what I am doing wrong. I placed it in the oil for over a minute but the batter would not stick to the rosette tool.
