Love my lovely blue Squier🌸 I wanted a less expensive Fender. I have another heavier Fender. I wanted one for practice. This bass is so well made fender quality. Easy to hold sitting or standing I am going to change the strings,sound too matalic for me. I tuned it sounds good right out of the box. I definely recommend purchasing🌸

I’ve been playing bass for 39 years, and I own several different brands. This Squier Sonic sounds incredible, especially through a Fender amp. The ceramic pickups are powerful without the punchyness typical of ceramics. The combination of the pickups and round wound strings has a bright tone while still delivering the low end allowing the harmonics to scream. This one came in at a comfortable 8lbs 2.5oz and is well balanced lacking the neck dive reported by others. The set up was spot on straight out of the box. The action was set up perfectly and the intonation was dead set accurate making it ready to play immediately. The finish on the body is flawless and the neck has a nice smooth satin feel. The neck is like a Jazz neck and tapers to a 38mm nut, giving it the feel of a fast neck. Something not commonly offered with a P Bass. This is a great bass for the beginner or experienced player.

Started learning bass more seriously a couple years ago. Had an Ibanez Gio from early 00's that I used for recording but when I got the bug to learn more techniques and such- of course I had to spend money on something new. Currently have that Ibanez, and Squire 54 Paranormal Jazz and a Squire Jaguar. A few months ago I picked up a used Squire Bronco for around $100 just to check it out. Really like the form and size. It has/had the 2 saddle configuration so made intonating difficult- if not impossible. Ended up replacing the saddle then I routed out a pocket near the bridge for a humbucker and installed it. It works great, but I messed up on the routing a bit and now the bass needs some heavy cosmetic work. Anyway, I was in the market for a second one and noticed they have the Sonic line with the 4 saddle config- so I waited for a used on to show up and I snagged it. Is it worth full price? Yes, but this was a severe 'want' for me, not a 'need' so I was down to wait. Great bass, like the color (Coral). I can recommend.

It needs to be intonated for sure. But for a bass right out of the box it plays, looks and feels superb. Played a dozen basses at Guitar Center for around the same amount, and this was surprisingly great. Plus a free return if I didn't like it, so you can't go wrong.

Came quickly and played great had damage I didn't see on the body pretty good hit put a sticker over it and got on. I've since upgraded several things but played great when I got it good strings. Great purchase overall.

Tone is amazing for almost any type of music. BUT, it is sooo cheaply made that the neck and truss rod are SO incredibly difficult to get dialed in. but if you know what your doing and can get it fine right is a good beginner bass and it can be a good bass to use over a country track

Primero que nada, debo mencionar que he tenido bajos eléctricos tanto pasivos como activos, y siempre será más cómodo y fluido trabajar con un bajo pasivo como lo es el Squier Bronco. Si, la pastilla es de guitarra, pero suena increíble, le da un tono peculiar y metálico al 100% de tono, pero si lo reduces al mínimo tienes un sonido cálido y fluido, no vas a alcanzar las pastillas de un Jazz Bass o un Precision, pero el Bronco tiene lo suyo. Es barato, por lo que te evitas hacer un gasto enorme en el instrumento y puedes pensar en invertir en otros aditamentos, yo recomendaría un DI (Sansamp, MXR o incluso el Behringer esta chido) y un pedal de compresión. Yo uso mi Squier Bronco para grabar, va directo a una interfaz. Sin problema, es increíble el sonido que tiene para ser un bajo de escala corta, no es nada pesado, alcanzas todos los trastes sin problema y lo he usado en vivo. Es increíble este bajo, sin embargo, bajistas más experimentados preferirían un instrumento más elevado y con una mejor construcción, pues el Bronco tiene un acabado en el mástil un poco extraño. Aun así, recomiendo ampliamente este bajo, para principiantes, para bajistas intermedios y para aquellos que quieran un instrumento divertido, modificable y super fácil de usar.

Nice lightweight bass, well way lighter than a heavy bass, nicely made and well set up
