perfect of skinning and meat prep - cheapest on amazon of decent quality
One piece moulded handle slightly larger than it needs to be - decent grip though - for the price best knife deal on Amazon. Can't fault the quality for the money. As stated the handles are slightly too large for those with smaller hands, but are industry std size in butchery etc. Blades are quite good and sharp out of the box. These are aimed at professional kitchens and butchers who break and damage their knives regularly and are priced accordingly but that does not mean they are of low quality. In my regular kitchen I will never break these and there is no way I would buy some of these less used pattern knives from say victorinox at £40 each, but I will at less than £9. You won't be disappointed.I bought one thenwent back and bought them all

Shaving sharp specialised design knife.
This is quite a specialised knife. Essentially for skinning animals though you could use it for slicing meat but there are better designs by the same maker. For its designed purpose it is superb. Shaving sharp right out of the cardboard sheath it arrives in. The deep belly and tip shape make long, long skinning strokes very easy. It touches up really nicely on a steel. I don't see a need for another but I would buy or recommend it for or to others if you need a knife of this type.

Excellent!
Its awesome. I bought it to be able to bone a leg of lamb. Which I achieved! Its really good quality. Boning now done, and I have stored it away, in a secret place as I'm nervous about how sharp it is. Its fab!!

A butcher's opinion.
First i still can't believe the price for what you are getting, I didn't expect it to be sharp on delivery but i was wrong it arrived very sharp, the blade is very sturdy and strong and it will be ideal for when i go hunting but i will sharpen it more so it's fit for the purpose, if you buy it for the home it will still come in handy especially if cutting ribs or boning out carcasses and obviously vegetables, if you're sitting on the fence i would suggest jumping of and buying one and you won't be disappointed.

Spot on
Great quality knife, super sharp. I’d imagine that this knife won’t need replacing for a very long while. It would benefit from having a resin protective sleeve for storage. It would be good if the manufacturer did complete sets of knives rather than just a couple of single knives. As a retired professional chef, I would certainly buy a full set
