I love the simple design, superb light quality, the height (taller than my raised laptop screen), the adjustability, and the solid, tight build. The fit & finish of mine is flawless. The 4000K white light, with no blue and no glare, is softened by the orange diffuser ring. 500 lumens is good for general work, and for close up detail work you can lower the head. The touch control on the head is simple – tap on/off & long hold to dim/brighten – takes about 5 seconds to go to/from 10-100%. To reverse direction, release the hold, then hold again. It has a brightness memory, not held if it loses power. There’s a white label on the rear edge of the base that contains the model & S/N (which are not marked as such), so if you remove it you may first want to take a photo of it. Update: I’ve been using this daily for a few months and decided to raise my rating from 4 to 5 stars. I originally thought the highest setting should be brighter (why initially 4 stars), but actually it’s been bright enough for everything I do. The color temperature is just right, and I really appreciate the high 95 CRI (color rendering accuracy).

A little bit pricey but it’s built solid and all the movements are smooth. I like it.

Muy buen diseño, muy buena calidad constructiva. Fácil de maniobrar / regular altura, dirección. Fácil On Off con botón arriba. Lo único mejorable es el ajuste de la intensidad de la Luz, que se hace manteniendo apretado el mismo botón de encendido y no es muy amigable.

This desk lamp has been a game changer for my middle aged eyes! I can work comfortably in the evenings again without my eyes getting tired. It’s not glaring, is well-weighted and unobtrusive on my desk. Have had it 6 months and love it.

I had an issue with the lamp. Called the customer service number and spoke to Luis. It turned out to be "operator error". Luis was most helpful and very patient!

This should have been a $80 lamp. Dimmability interaction bad, joints sticky, some low quality details like bad paint job around the ON button.

I saw this and balked at the price for a few months. It went on sale for 20% off, and I decided to jump on it. It is a very minimalist design, but sheds excellent clean, even light with minimal bleed. The stand is sturdy and heavy enough to allow me to adjust the lamps position without worrying about it falling over. I have had some issues with setting the brightness level, but I generally use it on max brightness anyway, so it doesn't really bother me. It still feels like a bit of a luxury splurge, even with the sale. I could have bought 4 other lights for what I paid for this one.

This is a case of getting what you paid for. Not cheap, but the lamp is heavy, solid, and well-made. It won't win any prizes for beauty but it does what it needs to do. Touch on/off button is good. Long touch to dim or brighten is rather slow and of limited range, but not a big deal.
