This one of the best investments I have made, the light starts at a warm orange glow to a bright white light. And the sounds are great I use the birds signing, it when it goes of it just the right level of volume to not bother me, I'm very sensitive to sounds in the morning, I can't can lessen to music or watch TV first thing in the morning because sounds bother me. But the first sound is so natural that some time I will hear the out side and have to double check my clock to make sure it not on. Itbut it is a leaning crove. But after some time messing with it is party easy to use. But keep the user manual just in case. I get up between 5 and 5:40 so I will set my clock and the bird sounds will always wake 1 minute after the set alarm time as that is when they are at the best leave to hear. But I do recommend this to everyone it is the best it a good value and so far it is functional so what more can u as for.

Very hard to read the settings and time area when the light is on so I have to guess what I picked when using the sunset function. I also didn't find the instructions very clear or helpful. Otherwise fine, especially for the cost.

I only had trouble setting the alarm

This clock “seemed” to be working good until the return window closed! Then all the sudden, it stopped alarming and glowing, and powering on! Thought maybe I needed to change the battery, but that didn’t fix it either. I even changed the DC cord to a different one I had! Nothing made this clock work again after abruptly loosing all features until nothing worked on it. Now I’m stuck paying over $20 and no options to return! I am a Narcoleptic, and I need a good clock. Sadly I now have to spend a lot of money going through all the junk in hopes of finding a good one that stands behind their product!

I got this alarm clock and it’s huge lol. It is very very bright, definitely will wake you up. The only thing wrong is the on/off button does not work. Other than that it does what it is supposed to to do.

The gentle and gradual way the light turns on over a few minutes helps me wake up naturally before the alarm. It is refreshing being able to wake gently and not startled from an alarm. I didn't realize until using this clock how different your mood and morning are when you wake up from soft light versus a blasting alarm sound. It's so worth the purchase. Do yourself and your mood a favor and get this.
