Works great, takes patience
Crimping .062 Molex pins, this tool works great after I ruined a couple of practice pins. It’s slow because it crimps the wire separately from the insulated clamp, requiring two squeezes per pin. However, it works and at a great price. The ratcheting engagement lock is difficult to open with the pliers partially closed. I learned how to disable the ratchet feature; flip the locking lever up. Would buy again.

Very nice Crimp especially for spade connectors
I am a motorsports engineer and used this for my engine harness and the spade connecters were so easy to crimp and the crimp is nice and thick so its quite sturdy especially if you over squeeze like i do overall very good crimp it wouldve been even better with a stronger opening spring thou

Best tools for crimping ad-hoc
I would not consider these to be ever day professional crimpers as the crimp wears over time. Excellent tool for using ad-hoc basis to do the occasional crimping session.

Great for hobbyists
I had been wanting to get a pair of these for a while, but just hadn't pulled the trigger. I borrowed a set from someone and using them was a bit more complicated than I expected (you have to use 2 different parts on the same wire in different locations). I was very pleased when I received these that the had very detailed instructions. A lot of tools don't have that, and when you are venturing into new territory, it can be a little daunting to get a specialized tool with no clue how to use it. Now my connectors look professional, instead of all beat up from me trying to do it manually with wirecutters. These certainly aren't the best crimpers, and there are nicer ones that will do both steps in one shot, but for someone who just needs them every once in a while and aren't doing hundreds a day, these are perfect!

Difficult to use
Does the job, but very hard to consistently load small connectors

Decent Crimpers, But the Ratcheting Mechanism is a Fail
I’ve got several different sizes of crimpers, and I wanted to hopefully get one that would handle most sizes. This one doesn’t do that, but that’s my fault. I’m a bit fumble-fingered anymore (nerve issues) and the locking mechanism on this crimper is a disaster. My hands sometimes also spasm slightly when I don’t want them to, so I have to reposition things frequently. This makes it almost impossible if I’ve slightly squeezed and need to reposition before fulling crimping. There is no easy way to release the crimpers and start over.Plus, they aren’t evenly matched. On mine, the top is narrower than the bottom as it squeezes which can make for a twisted squeeze. I like the final squeeze and release for proper tension purposes, but there should be an easy to get to release. The one provided is next to impossible at times.Amazon Vine sent this product to me for an honest unbiased review. Would I recommend it? Probably not because of the ratcheting mechanism that doesn’t allow you to easily reposition the terminal. If you can live with that, then these might be a good choice for you. For me, it makes it too difficult. I’ll stick to the ones that allow me to back off easily and reposition. My fumbling hands require that.

Good tool for right price
Tried many other tools for Molex connectors without success . This one works and makes the crimping easy.

Good complimentary tool
So as the title says this is a good complimentary tool. I do quite like it, I like the ratcheting mechanism, it like the variety of options for size. Its a good tool. Not great but good.I think this tool suffers from jack of all, master of none. I primarily use it for jst 2-2.5mm connectors and molex microfit connectors. Plus recently some spade and fork connectors. It does jst in those sizes satisfactorily, molex poorly and the spade/fork connectors very well. For molex it just does not crimp the conductor well, it either doesn't have enough force or if you go a size smaller it bends the crimp connector out of shape. For jst it does alright, not great but good enough for most applications. It does much better for crimping the insulation I've found. So its decent, paired with a PA-09 its great. I get pristine connections. I use the IWISS to prep the conductor connection and then finish it off with the PA-09 then I do the insulation on the IWISS again and have had great results. So in short, this cant do molex microfit, it does JST with crimps 2.5-2mm well enough.Leaning between 3 and 4 stars but I'm at 4 for now
