The programming process for these is slightly different tan the OEM versions. But the instructions are well written and easy to follow. It took me about 2 minutes to program both openers. hey both work properly. Good deal here.

Previous owner of my house installed a LiftMaster opener from 2014 and a Genie Intellicode that is even older. I wanted a remote to control both of them, so based on the description I ordered this one. Programming them was a little tricky, but not hard. My LiftMaster has a yellow 'learn' button, so it matched the first option on their little chart. My Genie was a bit more difficult. It has a black 'learn' button in a hard-to-reach spot. I tried programming it a couple of times pressing the button FIVE times, for Genies 1995-current, but it wouldn't work. Then I tried pressing it SIX times, for Genies 2005-current, and that worked. The instructions are not perfect, but they're good enough. I had to press the button more times and more slowly than I expected to get it to sync with the opener, but it wasn't hard. The range of the remotes seem very good, opening the doors from the street as expected. They are a nice size that fits on the keychain, so you don't have to leave them in the car. The quality seems very good, and they are compatible with both of my openers. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

The remote works but I usually have to hit the button a few times when I’m inside a vehicle. The case is not as refined as the original but it’s functional. As far as the instructions I have an unusual application so it was not immediately clear how to program it but once I read the instruction slowly I was able to quickly program the remote easily.

This product generally had good reviews, but the one stars were almost all about how they couldn't program it. I received the remotes today so this is not a review on longevity, but I programmed them in a couple minutes and they have a longer range than my previous remotes. The instructions that came with the remote have a confusing section about choosing your garage door opener type, see attached photo. I ignored these instructions and just used the instructions for my LiftMaster Gate controller - push the Learn button, then push the button I want to use on the remote. Worked perfectly. I don't know if I just got lucky, but I didn't need to use the Choose your Garage Door Opener Type instructions. Maybe because my LiftMaster is the first on the list...

We've had these about a month and they work fine. Took a minute to "pair" them to our door but otherwise, no complaints.
