This book is absolutely gorgeous. The instructions aren't step-by-step but rather labelled diagrams so beginners may find it tricky to start with, but as someone who's been embroidering for a while (and mainly floral at that!) it's a stunning little guide to stitching lovely flowers. I cannot recommend this enough!

What a delightful book! If you're a beginner in the field of embroidery, you might regret the lack of vast numbers of the usual instruction pages that are normally found in embroidery books but don't let that deter you from buying it. Personally, I found it refreshing to open this book and find a stitch demonstration catalogue of only three pages plus two pages about setup. Every flower is well illustrated by full page colour photograph plus a separate page with an outline drawing showing which stitches and thread colours were used. There's also a little information about the flower family, bloom time, height and so on which is a nice touch.My book order was made on March 8th through Wordery and according to the latest email from Amazon, it's not due to be delivered for another two weeks but arrived this morning, so well done Wordery!

I bought this for its attention to detail when stitching garden flowers, something I’m new to. I found it well organised and a lovely book to just glance into for a particular flower. I’m not fazed by the line drawings or lack of detailed instructions as this wasn’t what I need. It has encouraged me to look at other flowers so I can find ways of interpreting them in stitch which I might not otherwise have done.

Just so beautiful. Large photos of realistic looking embroidered garden flowers and detailed instructions. Recommend.

Love this book

I do like this but the text is small and my eyesight is not what it was so can only read in the daytime. I would say you need to be fairly skilled in embroidery. But the pictures and the skill of the embroiderer is fantastic.
