Swan Creek CandleSoy Drizzle Melt 4.75 Oz. - Gingerbread

I had bought this brand before from an Antique Store in Pennsylvania. The scent was intoxicating, luscious & heavenly...really made the house unbelievably Fragrant. But both times I have ordered these from Amazon, I've been very much letdown. They just are weak. Are these old or outdated? What's the problem? I figured maybe the first order from Amazon was just old, so I tried a 2nd time, but again. Same thing. Weak. Scent does not carry. Do I need a hotter burner, what could be wrong?

The scent is very powerful for these. This is sort of a toffee or caramel type of sweet scent, not heavy on spice or ginger. My husband said it made him a little sick, like he’s trapped in a grandmas house full of butterscotch candy

Scent is great until you melt it!!! Scent is BURNT COFFEE!!!!! Where's the GINGERBREAD!!!
