Easy to use right out of the box. The handle is pretty sturdy so even though it didn’t rest perfectly against the cabinet door, it still held it while I drilled it. My drill is heavy af but I could make the hidden hinge holes with one hand, so pretty sturdy and great value for the price. I will say the pilot holes it comes with are not one-size fits all so make sure the nail holes on your hinge line up with the holes on the clamp. My cabinet is now installed, so it got the job done.

i will admit i was a bit sceptical at first. but it was easy to use and the holes fit perfectly as needed, hinges work great . 6 holes/3 cabinet doors and no issues. i do recommend deciding which inside side of the door to make the holes and double check that before making the holes. ;-)

This did exactly what was needed. It helped me drill the perfect hole for the hinges for our new cabinets. I would give it a five star review but the bit isn’t as sharp as it should be. With a sharper bit the job would have been easier.

I’ve only use this for the first time over the weekend when I was attempting to replace some doors on a bathroom vanity. it worked just fine for me, and it was relatively easy to get everything lined up to make a perfect holes for those “European style” hinges that that are ubiquitous nowadays. Based on the build quality, I’d say this is perfect for DIY use but I don’t think it would stand up for commercial or professional use. If you’re just doing stuff around your house, I think it would work just fine and that is just what I’m using it for.
