Fun! Fun! Fun!
I am very new to the hobby & let me say this Heli is very fun and great for beginners! I flew this Heli indoors for about a month, but just took it for its 1st outdoor flight right before typing this review & I have to say, exhilarating is an understatement!! It was so fun omg I flew it so high & so far & I had completely control the entire time! Then I flew it right back to me, & landed it right in front of me with not a single problem.. it comes with 2 batteries, that have about 8 to 10 minutes of flight time per battery. This Heli introduced me to my newest passion, & I highly recommend it if you’re interested in the hobby.. it even inspired me to buy the RC Era Bell 206, can’t wait til it shows up!!

It's worth the money, my son loves it. It's easy to fly right out of the box

A few quirks that may confuse
Upon opening this package I started looking at the instructions to see how to get started with this copter -- it has one key take off and landing and I somewhat expected the controls for that to be in the same place as a smaller copter that I recently got from the same manufacturer. Ooops, quirk number 1 encountered. This may have been manufactured by the same manufacturer but the controls are not the same, at least not for the one key take off. On the smaller copter the remote control has a shoulder button (left shoulder button) that you press to press in order to get it to take off. On this copter you instead press down on the right joystick in order to engage the one key take off. That isn't a big deal but you will likely be a little confused as to why there are what appear to be shoulder buttons on the remote that aren't used for anything.Getting past that issue, I found myself a little confused in that this comes with two batteries (yes, it is noted in the description) but I only saw one battery in the pack of accessories. I did find that there was a wire sticking out of the copter that I determined is from the second battery. OK, game on. I plugged in the charger and let it charge up that battery. I was delighted to find, unlike the smaller copter, that the charger that comes with this copter lights up while charging up the battery. I like that positive assurance that the charger is working. Why it was "backwards" to me with the smaller copter I'm not sure, but I see this approach as correct and an improvement over the smaller copter's charger. I didn't try, at least initially, to charge up the second battery but will update this review if that one doesn't charge as it should.Reading things over a bit more I found myself disappointed at the promised battery life. 5 minutes (give or take a little bit) of flight time isn't long at all, especially after you have to wait to charge the batteries in order to get even that much time out of the thing. It would be nice to get at least 10 to 15 minutes out of a single battery but don't expect that here. You can double up on the flight time by changing out the batteries half-way through your flying time but in order to do that you'd need to keep a small Phillips head screwdriver with you so you can open the battery slot and remove the installed battery in order to install the second. With the battery charged up I hit the next potential quirk -- where is it supposed to plug in. It isn't that you can't figure it out and that it isn't identified but it isn't that most clear thing to figure out. The etched writing you might find on the shiny metal copter parts is hard to read. Worse, for me, is that trying to slip the battery wire into the target area didn't want to cooperate at first. Try, try, try again and finally I got the connection to slide in as it should (on the side of the copter) and the connection was made. Woohoo. Next order of business turn on the copter with the On/Off switch that is on the bottom of the copter. (Small and again hard to see but is detectable there, almost directly under what would be engine area of the copter)I had previously installed the batteries into the remote control so with the copter on and the remote control turned on I could see that remote and copter synced up and I was able to make use of the one key take off. Up it went until I used the left stick to change the height of the copter. Left stick controls lift and is easy to work with. Up to go up, down to bring it back down.Right stick controls turning. I give this copter (at least the one that I received) huge marks for being basically ready to fly and for hovering and holding position as expected. It had a little drift, but not much at all really. The remote control offers a couple of buttons (the small push buttons on the right side of the face of the remote control) to control the trim (fine tuning adjustments) for either left or right so if you find the copter wants to spin to the right too much you can adjust the trim to the left to get it to stay more centered/balanced as you could expect. The right stick controls forward and back movement as well as turning. (Push forward on the right stick to go forward, pull back to move in reverse. Push right or left to turn or go in that direction.) Controls for that worked as I would expect so I was able to fly around the copter and move it around my family room as I wanted to.Would I buy one of these copters for a youngster -- absolutely. It can be a fun toy. Again, a bit of a tease when it comes to amount of playable time. If you could get batteries with longer life without over burdening the motor due to the extra weight it would be a bit better, but for the price point, it isn't bad at all.Last quirk to mention here -- there is a button on the face of the remote that is meant to switch between low and high speed (motor speed). Pressing that button, for me, did absolutely nothing noticeable. I expected to hear a change in the motor's noise left and instead there was no difference at all. It didn't seem to go any faster or slower. It would be nice to see a different color led light on the remote or the copter that would indicate that you've selected higher or lower speed and it would be awesome to be able to see or hear the difference in speed (if there really is one).

LARGE SIZE INDOOR , BATTERY POWERED HELICOPTER .
THE HELICOPTER IS ABOUT5 INCHES WIDE BY 6 INCHES TALL BY 14 INCHES LONGIT IS GREAT FOR BEGINNERS LEARNING HOW TO OPERATE AN R.C. COPTER. AND FLYING INDOORS. WITHOUT BREAKING THINGS AND GETTING HURT. THE HELICOPTOR HOLDS A CHARGE AND FLIES FOR APPROXIMATELY 15 MINUTES OF CONTINUOUS FLYING PER BATTERY AND COMES WITH 2 BATTERIES. IT IS FUN FOR A STARTER R.C. CHOPPER AND GOOD FOR ALL AGES 8 YEARS OLD AND OLDER. ALTHOUGH I DO FEEL YOU SHOULD HAVE ADULT SUPERVISION FOR MINORS BUTILL LEAVE THAT UP TO THE PARENTS. IF THE MATURIY LEVEL IS THERE. ITS GREAT FUN AND A SOLIDGREAT TIME FOR EVERYONE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE A CREATIVE PERSONALITY LIKE MINE.

Quality and ease of use of this product.
This was a surprise gift for my grandson and his parents told me to return it cuz it was probably junk. I didn’t - I am the grandmother after all! We set it up and he came over and was very excited when he saw it.When he took it home to play with it the next day after school, his sister called us to let us know that he AND HIS DAD were outside playing with it and having the best time! (Excuse me as I clear my throat.).We are so pleased with this purchase and it is not like your average drone. You can’t go wrong purchasing this for a great Christmas gift!My grandson is 8 years old.
