Your Last First Kiss

1st book by this author and a great surprise. I absolutely loved it! Found families are my fave, especially where the kids are older... We don't always wanna be reading about cute toddlers... And I love a good guy, who loves the kids and is all in.. Seriously, bad guys are overrated. Dillon is so good with the kids and so all in without being cheesy. More realistic telling of the life of a single Mom, but that made a for a great story, slow burn and a well deserved happy ever after. Loved it

For the love of all that's writing, I've been crying my eyes out every 3 sentences.This is the first book I've read from Avery, and am a sucker for single parents books since I'm a single parent's child, hell I'm Kai the female version.Every single hope and dream I've had a child, Avery wrote into Dillon.So I really freaking hate this book because it made me relive all my demons in the best of ways.I really hope you make Chance Lake a series because I'm dying to see the development of all the characters I've met in this book so far.So now to read the rest of Avery's books.

I've always been sceptical about people who say they were hooked from the first page, for me it's usually a couple of chapter'sBut let me tell you, FROM THE FIRST PAGE I WAS HOOKEDThis is the best book Avery has written and I had to read it just a couple of chapter's at a time because my emotions kept getting the best of me, so took me longer to get through it, but boy oh boy what a read, keep some tissues handy

This book was so emotional. It literally had it all.-second chances-found family-a love so worth fighting forI was rooting for Dillon & Penny from the very beginning, desperate to get to the end but not actually wanting it to end.And now I have a serious book hangover! Highly recommend ❤️

Well, Avery Maxwell has smashed it with this one. Absolutely fantastic story. I totally fell in love with Dillion and Penny and all they go through to get to their HEA.

I'm a little conflicted by this. Where I enjoyed it, the hero made me a tiny bit uncomfortable. I know I'm in a minority, and that's it's taken me so long to review

An emotionally charged read of broken lives/family and of how a mend of love is just around the corner. Dillon was Penny's unexpected and exceptional and she was his. The connection between these two was good to read and I was rooting for then.

Well, first of all thank you! What a book very emotional and powerful. Live is hard but making good choices doesn’t have to be so hard.
