These nut crackers are excellent value i bought oxo nut crackers a few days ago and there is a 6mm play between the two sections these best line dont have any play at all and a third of the price from the oxo ones when i purchased these ones i thought because they were quite cheap the quality wouldn't be there but believe it is as i say an excellent buy really recommended

Do the job but be careful as they are not well finished ....I cut my thumb the first time I used them as they are very sharp along the edge.

I had to file down the sharp edges on the handles. Otherwise after that it worked as expected :-)

Packaging very poor one leg of the nut cracker was sticking through and could have easily have fallen out altogether .
