I ice fish for yellow perch 4-5 days a week and there is no limit on the number you can keep so some days we fill numerous pails. I’ve been using 4lb test for a decade now and it’s the best line for the money. I’ve pulled 10-12lb pike, 8-10lb lakers, and even managed to get a 50”+ muskie to the hole on this line. I spooled my ultra light reel for ice fishing and liked it so much that i kept it for the spring and summer and I was suprised but it works great. I've caught plenty of bluegill, and perch and even alot of large mouth bass.
