Bought this for "emergency charging" while out traveling. It works perfectly, allows us to charge out of a standard wall outlet so no extra fussing is needed. As expected from 110, it's slow (from 10% to 800% estimated 40+ hours of charging). However it was perfect to top us up to get to the next fast charger. Comes in a storage bag and fits in the emergency compartment next to the spare tire kit. Build quality is decent, it doesn't feel as bullet proof as the public chargers, but should last good enough for the life of our EV.

Works like a charm! Fully charges my Mitsubishi Outlander on a overnight charge :) I save a lot of money from not buying so much gas and it doesn’t raise your electric bill no more than $50 a month!

Using it for backup and in car for on the road gave it a test run work well no issues.

Ordered in January and it has already stopped working . It began to get very hot as well. Do not recommend purchasing unless you want to replace every 6 months.

So I was hesitant to purchase a charger for my new EV. Since it came with the 2 years complimentary Electrify America supercharge account. But with many EV's on the road now and more people getting the same deals, those stations has had over an hour wait to charge. That savings in my pocket for gas I have exchange for my time a wasting waiting to charge my EV. So after a month of using the electrify America I have had enough and decided to purchase my own charger. I thought that I was only going to get under 1 kw per hour. Boy was I wrong. I purchased this charger and I am able to get 1.7-1.9 kw charge per hour. Which helps for trickle charging over night. My wife has a Tesla and my trickle charge on my EV over night is faster than her Tesla. I am really grateful for this option and how you have an option for 2 different types of outlets for use. The charger in itself is light and durable. The rubber cover for the tip of the charger is a nice touch to help protect from any drops or falls to the ground. I would recommend this charger to anyone that needs a charger for home use trickle charging. It will help you and it will change your life not having to wait hours on a weekly basis to charge your EV at the station.
