Seller had old cautionary warnings that it would not work on Verizon CDMA network, just A GSM network like T-Mobile.That's true, EXCEPT, Verizon dropped CDMA when they dropped 3g Dec 2022, and they are now using LTE, which GSM also uses, starting with 4g & 5g, same as T-Mobile (and the rest of the world).Verizon Wireless doesn't need to switch to GSM in the US, because it is already using a more advanced technology called LTE, which is compatible with GSM phones.Verizon Wireless has been phasing out its CDMA network, which was incompatible with GSM phones, since 2019.LTE is the primary network of all carriers. The GSM part is a backend standard used for customer verification and subscription communication. All phones now days work on any carrier.If your phone has an IMEI number, then it's LTE\GSM and will work on Verizon.A detailed examination of the GSM 'bands' (frequencies), this phone has pretty much same as T-Mobile (see below), so appears to operate fine on either network, no issues at all. I've even gotten 5g connections, so seems complete. Zero problems so far.The IMEI says this phone was made by\for Panama, but all I did was change language to English. I did not need Verizon to change or do anything, my current SIM card works fine, as does my expanded memory card (which is big reason i got this phone). And that was starting with just 85% charge.I don't know why but the American version of the A54 only comes with a max of 6 Gb RAM - no one at Verizon or Samsung could explain why or find me one with 8Gb that was made for American use. The battery life on the A54 is like nother. My S23 Ultra is nothing compared to this sucker. The A54 can sit a week - no, probably a month on the same charge. The phone is very nice, smooth, and the camera is excellent. Great budget phone. It's a tad bit thick but I don't really care, makes it easier to hold anyway. No bulges in pocket. Beautiful display. Storage space seems truthful too. Oh and it has speakers on both ends.

The A series is a great way to go. It's keeps up with most phones in every way. People I know even tell me the pictures are better than theirs (I agree most of the time). Great price for years of usage.

I need a micro SD card slot, and all the top line Samsung phone don't have it , so this is the best phone I can get ! The US version only have 128gb , so I bought it here !! And no regrets ~ everything works so far!

The phone arrived opened already and I was expecting brand new. As it turned out, someone put a copy of the phones' IME in the box but the phone box already had it on its side. The phone is brand new. It was still factory wrap and I can see figure prints already before I touch it. The box was undamaged. It arrived in a bubble envelopeand not in a small box (which should have since it has a battery which is dangerous. When mailing something that has batteries, there's always a caution battery sticker. There was none to warn the courier). The phone works and is new. There is a couple of bloatware from Indonesia that are useless in America so I either delete them or disable them. I try getting samsung pay to work. But it's a unique form of samsung pay that is only compatible to Indonesia territory. So I can't delete it so I disabled it too. About 37.13MB are wasted due to bloatware that I cannot delete that was exclusive for Indonesia citizens only, which is annoying. But the phone works with boost mobile. It's good at gaming fps games and the camera is good for the price.Update: I have no issues with the phone after using it for a couple of days. It works fine. The phone is slippery and I dropped it. It survived, only a dint, no cracks yet. Would buy again incase my phone brakes again.

So far the phone is working good for me, what I like about it the most is the long lasting battery.

T-Mobile would not accept the IMEI number associated worth the phone I received. Samsung does not offer these higher end phones in the USA.
