Biona Organic Jarred Garden Peas 350g (Pack of 6)

I used to buy this sweet pickled red cabbage in Germany on my motorcycle tours in Europe between 1984-2017 when an Ischaemic stroke ended all that fun, due to a vision problem that the DVLA didn't like. This product in Germany is called Rotkohl Delikatess in bigger jars. It's cheaper in Germany, but needs must !!! It is absolutely delicious in this miserable lockdown. Nigella Lawson makes in on TV at Christmas. If you like sweet things, but not too sweet, with a hint of acidity and flavoured with cloves and cinnamon, I think it is, you must buy this. I have bought 42 jars recently for lockdown and Christmas, but it may run out before then !!! Healthier than crisps, nuts, cakes and biscuits....D.R. Anderson, Glasgow

Can't wait for Hengstenberg Red Cabbage 680 g (Pack of 6) to become available again. Same price for much more & it's the real deal!!!Even so the flavour of this product is very good & contrary to other reviews here, it IS genuine 'Kraut' like 'Rot Kohl'. The downside is the small jars being sold at a RIP OFF price that is more than double to what it actually should be.

OK, but I found the taste was a bit bland.Therefore not particularly tasty and expensive, so will stick to the supermarket own brand once COVID is over.

A tasty addition to almost any meal or salad, or if you're like me, even as a snack food.There are cheaper alternatives out there, but I happen to like the taste of this brand, so I don't mind paying a bit more.The BBE date is good, and these make a good addition to your pantry.

Delicious peas full of flavour. Quit a lot in the jar and was more than enough for me and the missus.

Yummy, very filling, good dose of protein in each jar.not salty.quite refreshing flavour.I love eating these straight out of the jar cold.the jars are perfect size for my trips, easy fit into my rucksack with a woolly sock to protect the jar.I think they would be great for the work lunch box or to eat at the cinema etc.Biona is a brand I highly trust.

Moreover, you can get them at very competitive prices, especially if you subscribe, which saves you 10%.Biona garden peas are very tasty and are excellent in salads. A jar contains a good quantity of peas as well.
