Remo Kids Percussion Floor Tom Drum

My 5 year old asked for this and was not disappointed. It makes a lovely deep sound and isn't annoying at all. I think a tinny one would be but this is nice. It is a good size (not too big or small), looks lovely quality, makes a good noise and is very bangable! I defy you to not want to have a drum roll on this!

My 2 year old son loves this drum. Excellent quality. Lovely sound. All my friends children love playing with it when they come around. I would recommend

I got this drum for my one year old as she is obsessed with music. I didn’t realise how big it is but it’s size is part of the charm. It’s sturdy and I hope it will last us many years.

My disabled son has been having a great sensory time. He just loves it . He has other remo drums but the big smile on his face tells me this is his favourite one

My son loves it, I (truthfully) love it, but it is really really loud. You can muffle it my putting a towel in the bottom, but my son clocks that straight away and pulls it out. But it is a lovely drum, if a bit pricey.

Wow. Remo has set the quality standard for general/consumer percussion instruments in the U.S., and clearly they've now also set the standard for kid-safe instruments. This is not a toy; it's a beautifully-made, surprisingly resonant djembe. The only compromise is that it's not tuneable, which won't matter for almost any kid-application (if a kid is playing with other musicians who care about ensemble tuning, the kid's probably ready to graduate to a bigger drum anyway. :)) Very highly recommended.

We have a little drummer who drums every single day. He went through all the fisher-price and other "toy" drums very quickly because they couldn't handle the daily use. These drums are fabulous! They are real, colorful, perfectly sized, beautifully sounding drums. The mallets are perfect and great to have around the house with small children. We have drum circles with any friends or visitors that come over. We've even had junior high boys come over and drum with my three year old for over an hour. LOVE these!!

Music class quality drumset! We loved it although it is very loud but we can tell it's a build to last. Super happy with it and with exploring our toddler's interest in music

Got this and also the 10 inch drum with mallets for my toddler. Both are great and really fun to use. This is the brand of instruments that was used in her Music Together classes

I love this brand of drum. I have several and they are made well, very sturdy, and sound great. They are loud ... but what drum isn't!
