Received defective battery. Old battery was charging phone but charge was not lasting. So I purchased this replacement battery for my Xiaomi 9T Pro. Item received with packaging in tact and installation attempted as per instructions. However new battery would not charge. On examination of old and new batteries, new battery is missing a metal part on the end. I am not in US. Return will be costly and is not an option. Now I'm stuck with a defective battery I cannot use 😩

This is a nice battery replacement kit. It has everything you need to replace the phone battery. Just take your time and read the instructions. It was not a very difficult job to do and the new battery worked perfectly.

Seems to have all the tools needed to replace the battery and put it back together. In my case getting it apart was pretty easy because the battery had lifted the back off the case the instructions are relatively easy to follow. The hardest part for me was getting the mid frame off after taking the screws out and then getting the same part back in. It took about half an hour never having done this before. I for some reason only have half the instructions but after taking it apart its kinda self explanatory putting it back together. This all seems pretty easy and I would do this again and for me this is a great value. Thanks

My phone works like new with this new battery. At around 4 years old, the old battery was causing the phone to spontaneously turn off without warning. Now the phone works perfectly again. Note that, although this is a great solution for breathing new life into an older phone, cell phone manufacturers go out of their way to make sure you can't easily replace the battery in an effort to force people to buy a new phone. LG is no exception, and in this case, they have not only glued on the back cover with no slot to get a prying tool started, but they made the back cover out of material that shatters like thin glass if you over-bend it even slightly. You will need a hair dryer (I used a heat gun) to soften the glue that holds the back cover on, and a lot of patience if you plan on getting the cover off without breaking it. Plan on needing to also buy a replacement back cover, but fortunately the back cover is readily available all over the internet for this phone for about 10 or 12 bucks. Very happy to have a like-new phone without senselessly spending hundreds of dollars on a new one when the old one does the job just fine.

Everything you need to replace the battery is included. It's slightly smaller than the one that was in the phone, so I recommend positioning it slightly further back or closer to the charging port. That will make it easier to connect the ribbon cable.

I picked this battery as this seemed to be a genuine battery. That was not the case. The battery had a catastrophic failure after 2 months. The phone started going from 60% to 4% in 1 second. Then the battery stopped taking charge a few days later. All that while I was on a trip. It became a major inconvenience since my phone became unusable while I was abroad and very dependent on my phone.

I've been using this for a few months now, and it's a nice little kit. I didn't realize the geniuses at Samsung made the back of my phone out of glass! Brilliant. The battery seems okay. I'm not sure I got any additional charge capacity out of this battery, but my old one was dead and this one is doing the job.
