Assuming you're starting from the baseline more square-ish included TV remote, this works great.First, it doesn't require the directional/line of sight, which was a significant irritation with the standard remote included with our TV - this allows navigation with the remote held at any angle. Second, the buttons are much more responsive than the baseline remote, with clear click feedback versus the squishy "did I hit it" feel that made tapping in PIN codes such a hassle.It paired simply and immediately as well - had it connected and working in less than a minute after putting the batteries in.The shape is much more like the magic remote too, so far more comfortable. The button layout is different than the magic remote in just a few places, and of course as stated in the description, there is no voice function or pointer function. Which, having a Magic remote, I have found to be of limited use (pointer) or unreliable (recognition quality, app support), so I've missed neither of those functions.Bottom line, this has worked great, and we've been quite happy with it.

I chose this option because it said that it was for all LG Smart TV’s from 2018-2023, so even though my specific model number wasn’t listed in the description, I was still hopeful that this would work…and it did! Not only did this remote work for my tv, it was the simplest replacement for technology that I have ever gotten. Literally, I put batteries in this remote, pointed it in the general direction of the tv, and it worked. No set-up, no hassle, no complications.

Easy to set up and use.

I have to say I ordered this product with trepidation. Since purchasing my LG OLED TV several years ago, I have purchased two remotes for this TV. The TV only came with one remote, and there are times when a second remote can come in handy. The first one I bought had the same exact model number as the one that came with the TV. It worked - barely. Most the time, it didn't even seem to connect to the TV. So, I gave up on it. Then, I ordered another remote that said that it worked with my model of TV. It did. But it needed to be held in just the right position to connect with the TV. If you didn't - it wouldn't work. So, third time a charm? Yes! The ad said to insert batteries, and it will connect. And, it did! This remote does almost everything my original does. There are a couple of differences. It does not have voice control like the original, and it doesn't have the magic cursor of the original. But I don't miss those things. I am happy to finally have a second remote that functions with my LG OLED TV.

Nice replacement remote. Performs well, and batteries last. Easy to install.Recommended.

Have to press buttons multiple times sometimes for it to respond. Center wheel does absolutely nothing. Cheap price, but you get what you pay for.
