The only thing I didn't like was the size it was a little small, not like the ones in restaurants. quality it excellent you can put about 500 lbs when product was screwed directly into the wall.

It's a nice grip bar about 12". Screws are 1.25 with anchors. Make sure the holes are all visible on the outside of the cap attachment to your surface area. Now drill the starter holes. 3 top and 3 bottom. Attach anchors then screws(cap over anchors).Make sure black caps are on the handle before you start. Then slide black caps over the attached handle. All done.

They look great easy to install but contractor said the plastic things that the screws goes into are not dependable to keep them attached to the wall so he got different ones and now are very secure.

We bought this for my parents because they were having trouble getting in and out of their house. They have a couple of steps going in and out of their house. My husband installed it and they absolutely LOVE it! They said they were wondering why they didn't have this before! They are average weight so, so far, it's holding up for both of them using it.

Normally I don’t write reviews like this but I feel I need too. For those looking for a towel rack this fits the bill with spades. As a grab bar,,, well not to great as it is reasonably flimsy. Sorry guys, better luck next time.

Great buy

I'm 75 and need the extra security in my shower. Easy to install. I have tile shower walls and had to buy special drill bits to prevent cracking my tile..

The grab bar was bent when manufactured so the two ends are not in the same plane. See attached photo with coins stacked under one end. The edges of the plate are sharp and would damage the sheetrock if attached. The screws are too small besides.
