My father read this book cover to cover! He never heard about shared death experiences. For years, our family had people in our lives that shared near death experiences. Raymond Moody is very to the point and detailed. He, Bruce Grayson and Jeff Long have researched 10's of thousands of cases that defy any kind of hallucination or mere dream. This book is a go- to for those that want to hear from branches of science versus just some guy off the street. I believe it either way. But this book is VERY reassuring, along with his other books. The man that coined the term "Near Death experience".

Having read Dr. Moody’s first book in 1975 and others that followed over the years, not to mention more than 50 books about near-death experiences by other authors, I had reservations about purchasing and reading this one as I doubted I’d find anything new. I was wrong. First of all, it was a great refresher and the focus was more on shared-death experiences than NDEs, per se. The chapter on the psychomanteum was alone worth the price of the book. I recalled Dr. Moody discussing this phenomenon in a prior book, but he went into much more detail on the subject in this book. I was glad to see that he is no longer sitting on the fence relative to the survival issue. I plan to purchase several more copies of the book for relatives and friends who are not all that familiar with the evidence offering "proof" that consciousness continues after death.

Raymond Moody's first book, Life after Life changed my understanding of Life. By the time his new book came out, I had read many Near Death Experiences, so this reinforced my beliefs.

I suffer from a chronic medical disorder that leaves me constantly concerned about the idea of the permanent cessation of consciousness after death. This fear was once a minute-by-minute intrusive thought that seriously derailed my ability to function in normal life. I have read volumes of philosophy, NDEs, easter traditions, and so on. This book is the pinnacle of them all, and has brought me a deep sense of comfort. I am a skeptical person at heart, so often I find myself back to begging at the question of life after death. The examples and arguments made by Dr. Moody are convincing, and written in a way that just about anyone can understand them. I am very grateful for this book, and look forward to reading more by Dr. Moody in the future. I would recommend this book to anyone who feels stuck in the fear of death.

As a longtime reader and admirer of Dr. Raymond Moody's work and having personally had several phone sessions with him for grief counseling over the years, I couldn't wait for this book to come out after pre-ordering it back in May. As soon as it arrived on my Kindle, I dived into reading it. Wow! This book is the absolute icing on the cake. I loved it and it helped soothe my grieving heart. I loved that Dr. Moody and Paul Perry teamed up again for another incredible book together. Glimpses of Eternity and Reunions are two of my very favorite books and I was delighted to see Mirror Gazing also included in Proof of Life After Life. This book really puts all the pieces together. I highly recommend it to everyone. Thank you, thank you, thank you Dr. Moody and Paul Perry. You're doing such incredible and outstanding work.

I have read a myriad of books on this subject, even the said author's previous books, and nothing here is new. I was a bit disappointed and bored.

I was so pleased to read this book. you won't be disappointed. Dr. Raymond Moody and Paul Perry do a fine job of providing reasons why they believe in life after death.

Raymond Moody, who in our time, started it all with his seminal “Life After Life,” is back with Paul Perry to tell the reader the answer to the question that he has likely been asked more than any other: Are NDEs final proof of life after death? And the answer in these pages is clearly “yes.” This book brings together phenomena that is adjacent to NDEs, in particular SDEs, Shared Death Experiences, and other happenings that clearly support the life after life hypothesis. If his readers have waited for one Dr. Moody book, this is it—and it is well worth the wait.
