THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE
Aspartame... the usual diet soda sweetener which causes memory loss and which disables activity in brain is absent in this Blue Sky product. Stevia is a plant that is stronger than sugar... less in needed, and is not poison like the ingredients that make diet soda sweet. I am no health nut, but a diabetic with intestinal issues. This product has not side effects like sugar rotting your teeth and causing pre-diabetes. Aspartame... the fake sweetener was started in a lab by accident when a neuroscientist found it was sweet. Gross. It was bought by the big companies as a cheap way to sweeten our drinks, and it was once banned because of it's danger. Politics won and we have all been poisoned. In japan most sodas have this STEVIA. Its thousands of years old. Try Blue Sky flavors. I drink this one because the ginger is potent, real potent and is almost medicinal for my condition. It is the BEST ginger ale around. Trust me. Remember eating ginger during a meal or when your ill helps inflammation. Cheers and thank you for reading!

I hope you REALLY like the taste of ginger and enjoy an odd sensation
I love ginger ale, I drink it every day with bitters. These seemed worth a try for the price, but I did not like this at all. I knew it would be more powerful than regular ginger ale, but wow - the taste was overwhelming to the point that it did not even taste like ginger ale - more like carbonated water and ginger root powder. Also - with every sip, there is an odd sensation in your mouth/sinus cavity! I didn't say anything to anyone, but then they had it too. I don't think it's anything dangerous and was interesting; it's probably the body's way of reacting to TOO MUCH ginger!! Make it stop!

An acquired taste. Definitely.
My drink of choice is rum: with cola (though I prefer to avoid caffeine), ginger ale, or tonic. Curious if some diet ginger ale might have more oomph than generic (but still quite serviceable) Canada Dry, I gambled on this. What a surprise. Not to be disparaging, because it does what it sets out to do, but beyond the expected ginger taste is a secondary flavor I at first attributed to very dirty socks. Makes me think of a very aromatic wood or incense. Now I am used to it, but find it much more compatible with a really hearty rum, even Sailor Jerry, than a wimpy one. Won't totally replace Canada Dry, but is a welcome variation. I'll continue to buy it.

I expected a bolder taste with no lingering aftertaste. Didn't get what I wanted & got what I didn't want.
Blue Sky Stevia Soda Jamaican Ginger Ale- I was looking forward to trying this soda as the reviews seemed to suggest this was very close to the spicy, tangy and a strong ginger flavor more like Caribean Ginger Beer, but you are probably guessing at this point that I was truly disappointed. The flavor is somewhat stronger than Canada Dry but far from dramatic. The taste I found disturbing was the aftertaste from the sweetener. YUCK. I was under a preconceived notion that, being a natural plant extract, did not have the aftertaste of artificial sweeteners.I wanted to try this product and love it ..... didn't turnout the way I had hoped.I hate to rate a product so low. Many people are make their living bottling, making and selling this soda, however in fairness to those buying this product should have the benefit from folks that have drank the soda & took time to write out their opinion.

I don't hate it but I won't buy it again...
I purchased this in hopes of replacing gosling's ginger beer (YUM) for making my moscow mules to lower the sugar and calories I was consuming. I was happy to find a diet soda that might be able to fit the bill. I've had other jamaican ginger ale (Reed's is delicious but expensive). For the price I decided to just give it a shot. The delivery was super fast and came in perfect shape. The first flavor I taste is super gingery (which I love) but the aftertaste is a musky kind of bitter taste I can't put my finger on (maybe the stevia?) and I don't like it. I've been mixing this soda half and half with diet ginger ale from my soda stream (which is good but not gingery enough for me) for my cocktails but will have to keep searching for a diet ginger beer that can replace my high sugar favorite! :( Please let me know if any of you have suggestions! :)

Best. Ginger Ale. Ever.
Boy howdy, is this stuff good or what! Let me tell y'all this is easily the best ginger ale available on the market, bar none. Sure, you get the benefits of having zero sugar and zero artificial sweetners, thanks to stevia. But the taste is where it's at: this product strikes exactly the right balance between packing a punch of ginger taste to avoid the bland, stale flavor all too common in ginger ale and yet stops short of being the too-strong attack commonly found in batch brewed ginger beers. You're gonna love it. It has a crisp, definitive ginger taste without being overpowering. The sweetness level is just right, but without any of the bad stuff. Delicious!

Not enough ginger flavor and unpleasant aftertaste
I usually drink Bundaberg diet ginger beer from Australia which we get at the local "World Market" store. It's quite pricey and after reading the reviews here I thought I would try Blue Sky Free. Well, there is no comparison. Bundaberg diet ginger beer has a clean, sharp, ginger flavor, just the way I like it. It's not too sweet and there is no odd chemical taste. This stuff is exactly the opposite. I can barely taste the ginger for the chemical aftertaste which is likely created by the Erythritol they are using as an additional sweetener. I guess they are trying to save some money because Stevia is so expensive, but I find it very unpleasant and as far as I'm concerned I wasted my money buying this stuff. We drank 3 cans out of the total 24. The rest went into the trash.I wish Amazon carried the Bundaberg brand.
