Amega Ranges Mini 14, Mini 30, 6.8 SPC, 300 AAC Scout Mount for 580+ Series Rifles

Easy to install and takes the Mini 14 to a whole new level. The scout mount is far superior for mounting optics compared to the mount the rifle comes with.

I installed this with Accuracy Systems Harmonic Stabilizer with the adjustable gas block. The fit is good in that combination. The quality seems excellent and the fit is good. My only knock on it is the obnoxious branding. I understand wanting people to know your brand, but there's a way to do it and this isn't it.

A little expensive but worth the look and the ability to modernize the rifle. I was able to scout mount a scope and add a flashlight/laser pointer. It gives the rifle a totally different look and feel. If weight bother you this isn’t for you as it adds a good amount of weight to the front. I do really like it and appreciate the look and quality.

Hardware is trash. Without cross threading or over tightening the screw broke off into the body upon installation. Super disappointing. $200 wasted . Wasnt worth $200 in the first place. Extra upset about this one!

Nicely built and delivered quickly. The mini scout III mount installed easily, works well, and looks good.

Please note that 1 or 2 of the bolt(s) may or may NOT flush in-line with the threads. Unless you're a guy like me who likes to work (and/or attempts) to fix things on his own, I would NOT force it in with any of the bolts unaligned. That one bolt broke and I, owned up to my, mistake. For those of who that weighs by the ounces, I'd say it's no more than 1 1/2 pound heavier than the original cover. Aside from that, I am a happy customer. I will buy some more in the future. Hands down, I count as one who recommends this purchase

Recieved the wrong rail (14a), need the 14 III Rail for 580+ . Overall it looks well made (milled out of a block of aluminum) but it was missing a screw for the gas block and one for the barrel clamp.( will update when i get it exchanged )Update- got the correct rail, but the barrel clamp that came with it did not even touch the barrel and it would snag on the operating rod so i decided to leave it off. Hope my red dot holds zero without the clamp.

Perfect fit on my Mini 30 Serial no: 584-#####. Very easy to install. Ordered another for my Mini 14.
