Both my cats like this and I have never found bone shards in it. I've been feeding it to my cat for years - may be six years. Sometimes it's clearly not very fresh as the biscuits are very hard and difficult to break up. Other times it's very fresh and easy to crumble. But if the fresh packages come in an envelope instead of a box, they are already very crumbled with lots of useless crumbs at the bottom. I never know what to do with those crumbs, and I don't like having paid for them.

I have a subscription for this dog food for my aunt's noisy little dog. It is the only thing it will eat and an easy product for my aunt.

Super disappointed. The bag was crumbs and not even half full. Definitely not worth the money. And now it's a bit of a guessing game for the feeding amount.
