Terrific Purchase
One of my most enjoyable buys! This Japanese Omelette Set comes with everything you need. The pan is amazing: the handle stays cool, the omelette comes out just like in the tutorial and the pan is super easy to clean. I love that this set also has a pan lid which helps me to cook the top of the eggs, because I haven’t mastered the roll-over technique. The set even comes with a silicone baster to prep the pan, a very cool spatula that precisely fits the pan, bamboo serving fork & spoon, a pouch for utensils, a set of beautiful chopsticks & a cute little serving plate. This company thought of everything and is selling a quality product.(Please forgive if you see this post multiple times. I kept adding things to the review and hit the submit button!)

Absolutely perfect for the way I cook
I've had this for a couple months now, and it has exceeded my wishes and expectations. My goals, which may not be the same as yours, was to create rolled omelettes just above egg-congealing temperature where the egg congeals but does not brown on the bottom, and most importantly, to be able to roll the omelette instead of just the single fold that I was limited to in the past. So I use it with my induction burner set between 160 to 175 degrees (Nuwave picc Pro). The non-stick surface is excellent, and just a small shot of oil or butter at the beginning is sufficient. I use the lid to help the topside congeal evenly. (I purchased this one over others specifically because it has a lid.) The biggest key for the nice roll is that the silicone spatula fits the pan. The induction heating is very even across the entire pan, and the temperature appears to be fairly accurate (but I have not tested/calibrated temperatures yet, because it has been close enough for the task). I think the handle is manmade, but it has the look and weight of a dense hardwood (i.e. very good).

Read the specs, it’s important!
This is a small pan! I knew this when I bought it, so I was not surprised, but it could be a shock if one is expecting a large pan.I made two omelettes right away. I did not follow any tutorials, I just went with gut feeling. The first image is a two egg omelette with ham and cheese. The second is a three egg omelette with the same ham and cheese. I put the pan on a medium low heat (3of 10 on our electric stove). I used two tablespoons of grape seed oil, using the included brush to coat the pan. I added the full two eggs at one time instead of a little at a time, then covered it. Once the eggs were almost fully cooked added the ham and cheese then covered. Let it simmer until the ham was sweating, then folded using the included spatula. Both turned out nice, and were tasty. I will likely follow a tutorial for next time.Overall I am pleased with this pan after one use.Not for cooking large volumes. I made breakfast for my spouse and myself, and cooked each separately.I did not use high heat. I used medium low heat, heated the pan first, then added oil, let it heat, then added ingredients. I cannot attest to cooking at higher temperatures. After the first use, the non stick coating really did stack up better than any non stick pan I have used. The lid standing upI thought was a gimmick, but it is actually a nice feature.I got the glass lid not wood.I have only used the spatula and brush, but it does include a nice (looking at least) wooden fork, spoon, and chopsticks in a nice bag.I got this at the 27% off price from Amazon, and feel like even at full price it is not a bad value. All this said, I am giving it a four star rating after one use. Once I have used it more, and I can test the durability, repeatability of results, how often it is used, I will likely re-evaluate and change the rating.

Great value for the price!
This pan works great! The eggs do not burn, and the size of the pan is great for a personal sized portion of omelet. The silicone spatula is the same width as the pan, allowing for ease of consistent rolling. The little silicone brush is perfect too, as it is easy to use to re-grease the open part of the pan before additional egg mixture is added. I would recommend this product to my friends.

Well made & makes a mean tamagoyaki!
Was so excited to get my new tamagoyaki pan! These special pans make cooking a Japanese omelette so much easier! The small rectangular pan comes with a glass lid - very well made & the handle may look like wood but its made of silicone, perfect for cooking on a gasstove. The set includes a small silicone spatula, a silicone brush (for the melted butter), a plate, a set of bamboo fork & spoon, and the best part - my OWN custom bamboo chopsticks with a matching case (I could live on sushi!). Don't use anything metal in the pan and it'll last a long time :-).It takes a bit of practice - make sure to check out the videos on YouTube for the ingredients for making tamagoyaki (includes sugar & soy sauce) and important tips - like heating the pan up well so the egg doesn't stick. The entire set is of great quality - was very pleasantly surprised! I haven't made tamagoyaki since I was stationed in Okinawa years ago. Made them this morning - my husband had never had an omelette like this, turned up his nose when he saw me pour soy in...but then crushed THREE of them! It'd also be the perfect gift for anyone who loves to cook!
