It’s lovely and works well. I bought two one for me, another for a friend. We both were pleased.

I like the design and look of the timer. It doesn't feel chintzy or cheap. It does the job it's supposed to and looks good doing it.Whatever material they decided to use for sand inside works, but not as well as you might like. Probably this is what some other reviewers are complaining about. After it fully drains, some of the material is still stuck to the edges of the glass in the top chamber, like a light coating of dust. Giving it a thump will shake it loose.To me this is a minor thing. It doesn't affect the timing much, if it all, and it doesn't detract from the functionality or the aesthetics.I'm a satisfied customer.

We used this for our wedding as a cute little “you have one minute to take pictures of us” at the ceremony so people could get their wiggles out of the way and let our expensive photographers do their jobs. One minute was probably too long for this idea, but the sand timer truly is one minute long to run out of sand. And now it’s a beautiful keepsake from our wedding! It has some weight to it but isn’t too heavy. It’s easy to use and very high quality. The bronze color is beautiful and the sand produces close to no noise. I am so happy we bought this and used it on our special day!

I love it and pretty for the price. Just keep in mind that it’s not perfectly accurate, which I wasn’t expecting anyway.I will use this to help me with my ADHD. It’s easier for me to start an activity I’m avoiding if I know I only need to commit to 30 minutes. However, once I start, I often get really into it and am then surprised when an electronic timer goes off. Which is why I liked the idea of using a quiet hourglass instead.So for me, perfect accuracy is not necessary. I ran a 30 minute timer AND a stopwatch to time the device. After the 30 minute timer went off, I saw there was still sand in the glass. I think it got stuck because I didn’t see sand dripping anymore.I had to nudge it to get the sand to start slipping thorough again. The hourglass officially stopped at 31:52.However, it might never have stopped if I hadn’t purposefully bumped it.Nonetheless, I give it high marks anyway because it does the job for my purposes and looks good to boot.I recommend it to buyers who don’t need perfect accuracy. If you want perfect time, use an electronic timer.

No complaints. Exactly what I was expecting. If you read the description you generally won’t be disappointed.

I bought this 5 minute hourglass to see if my phone's timer is accurate. This took 4:56 on my phone to finish, so I'm gonna get a new phone.
