Think these are gonna work.
Wanted to try these sock shoes because I have a problem. After an Achilles tendon rupture about 2 3/4 years ago I still walk with a limp because that calf muscle never regained strength. Can't do a one leg heel raise and can't push off the ball of the foot while walking; hence the limp. Had a bright idea a few weeks ago. What if I had a height Increase Insole? Wouldn't need to lift the heel because it would already be up. Tried a 1" and a 1 1/2" in my barefoot boots; both worked! No limp. But, the last hike the back of one heel developed a very sore spot. Since I've had water shoes for many years my first thought was: high top water shoes. After much looking I thought these Skasos might solve the rubbing problem. Won't know for certain until the first hike. So far very comfortable. No pain on the sore heel at all. Took out the provided insole and put in my 1" heel lift. The toe box seems wider than most. The sole is similar to a barefoot shoe and look like it should wear well. Very light. Normally order 11, 11-12 is fine. A good chance this is the solution.

Finally a minimalist shoe to replace my NB Minimus MW10!!!
Alright, so I’ve been looking for the right lightweight barefoot minimalist shoe for YEARS. YEARS I TELL YOU! I hate all of the shoes everyone else is making with the rubber soles. This EVA foam is PERFECT. It feels incredible! They are super lightweight and breathable. And I like that they have some very stylish designs as well as minimal simple designs. And the price is amazing! I already bought 3 pairs!I really want to give it a 5 star, but the 2 setbacks are that 1) they seem to skip a size for some odd reason. I’m a 9.5 men’s US size and they just don’t seem to have a size that fits just right. The smaller size is just barely too small and the bigger size is just a little too big. Yes I ordered both sizes. I somewhat prefer the smaller one, but would love if you guys would make one in between so that they will fit me perfectly. 2) Another minor thing is that I feel like the upper area doesn’t hug my foot with enough SUPPORT. They hug the foot alright, but there is very little support. Especially for lateral movements. If they fix that WITHOUT changing anything else, because I love everything else, especially the soles and the texture, then I will order these for the rest of my life!

Size inconsistent
Size inconsistent. Try them on before your return window closes because they label them in such a way that their warehouse seems to ship the men size when you order the women’s size. Nice shoes if you can get the size you ordered I think.

Very comfortable, seems useful for weightlifting
The shoes very much have a barefoot feel. I wasn't certain how it would be given I have wide feet but the sock-like shoes feel really nice. The sole is thin and I think it will help me feel stable on the floor when squatting and deadlifting in the gym as well. Though the format is essentially a sock with a thin sole the shoe--I got all black--stil looks dressy. I like it so far and hope to get a lot of use out of it.

Shop shoes
These are fantastic. I used to work in my shop in regular shoes or barefoot. The issue i had was the shoes would make my feet ache and barefoot sometimes concrete would make feet cold.if I needed to the house I had to change shoes. Since I purchased these shoes , when i go to the shop, I just put these on and they are so comfortable, if I need to go to house I don't have to change shoes,I just leave these on to walk across the rocks. You won't be disappointed. Very durable, sole are thick to take rocks, they support and don't fall down. Great fit and style.
