I saw a craft idea on facebook on how to make a jute bowl with rope and mod podge. They came out really well! I added beads to one. They are sturdy and keep their shape.

Used this rope with hot glue and it held up vert well it did have a slight smell but I think any rope of this kind has it. It was sturdy and stayed put. The quality was great.

The media could not be loaded.  I attached 2 pix to give an idea of how far a jute core may stretch. Loved working with the jute & hot glue. The jute was easy to glue on my project vase. Good product! I think a thicker jute would have been overkill so this 6mm was just right.

Good bang for your buck. Works great for brush piles.

I didn't use this for a load bearing rope, but more for a trim around a lamp. It adheres well to hot-glue and is pretty sturdy when pulled.

I bought a wall hanging monkey lamp, but hated the black cord hanging down from it, so I purchased this jute to wrap around it to make it looks more like a rope. Took me quite a bit of time, and a few glasses of wine, but I am very happy with how it turned out! The best part is I still have plenty of this stuff leftover to wrap gifts or find another creative use for!
