Great for the price
This is a great Value. It’s functional, durable and serves its basic purpose. I have had this Optic for over a year and I own numerous other Optics/Scopes ranging from Eotech, Trijicon, to Nightforce & Leopold.I wanted a budget basic sight for an AK Close Quarters Weapon.I went through a shoot house several times- and this Optic held Zero (basic) and has been through at least 1000 rounds- still works perfectlyI rarely give 5 stars - so this is top of the spectrum for me

We Have a Winner!
I researched a large number of sights and scopes under $100 here on AMZ and ordered/returned quite a few. My goal was to find the highest quality, best bang-for-buck, most versatile option for my AR.Well, the dust has settled and my exhaustive search is over. This Ozark reflex is the clear cut winner. The quality is a full step above everything else I've reviewed in the price range. When I first lifted this sight of the box, it immediately felt solid - like it was ready to handle a beating. The sight picture is huge, crystal clear, and the front lens coating handles glare like a pair of nice sunglasses. Reticles are clear and very bright at the highest setting. Love the push button feature to turn on and cycle brightness - much easier to operate under stress than the stiff dials featured on all the other sights in the range. Speaking of stiff dials, you won't find any on this piece of glass. Changing reticles is smooth as butter and there's a satisfying "click" when you cycle. Hardly any play.Only negative for me is that the sight only has red colored reticles (I prefer green). For though, it's a minor compromise for such an amazing sight at this price. You won't find anything that can beat this under $200 - believe me, I've looked!!

Well built sight but careful with battery nomenclature
I just received the sight and mounted it on my AR without problem. It seems very well constructed and the reticle selector is very positive when switching to any of the 4 different reticles. Installation was quick and easy. I haven't sighted it in yet, but don't expect any problems. The biggest "problem" I ran into was figuring out what replacement batteries to buy. The box says it uses 3 AG13 batteries, but the instructions say it takes 3 LR44 lithium batteries. The batteries that actually came with the unit were marked LR44H. I had to do some research to find that an AG13 battery is the same as an LR44 battery. Although the batteries that came with my unit were marked LR44H, I could not find any mention of that type of battery on any of the multiple search engines I used. Last but not least, LR44 batteries are alkaline batteries, not lithium. The "L" in the name designates alkaline. So the instructions were clearly in error. I wouldn't go on and on about this if the batteries weren't the most important part of this sight, but they are. So I'll get it sighted in and hope for a good result there. In the meantime, Ozark should be more consistent (and accurate) in their nomenclature for these batteries.

Great sight at a greeeeat price...Get it!
Obviously the greatest thing about this is the price. Let's be honest, you probably came down here because it looked like a good price and you wanted to know if it would work or absolutely suck.I love this sight. I will be buying one for all my AR pistols. For my rifles, I have been stuck on the Bushnell TRS-25. I prefer it's simplicity and style on the rifle. However, I wasn't a huge fan of the limited sighting on it when on the pistol. I had to really get close and look more "straight through", since it has a 25mm lens. Not the most ideal on a AR pistol that you want to be more maneuverable. It also stuck up quite high and didn't look quite "right" on the shorter pistol. And then the spare Bushnell on the mount I had didn't cowitness with the pop up sights I already had.I decided to go with this one for the style, 42mm lens, etc, and I couldn't be happier. The price was perfect and it worked like a charm, even in bright sunlight. I mounted it and it was fairly close at 50 yards (maybe an inch low and to the right). Kept zero with 150 rounds through it. Absolute cowitness with my back-up sights (not pictured). Mounts solidly, fits tightly, and the mounting seems robust (I have had issues in the past with stripping screws on picatinny mounts...doesn't feel like that will be a concern here). It's really the perfect setup for my AR pistol, especially because this one was designed to be an absolute budget build, with focus on "high-value" parts. This sight definitely falls into that category. Are there better sights out there? Undoubtedly. Do you need a better sight for your standard range duty and home defense? Likely not. If you're down here reading reviews on a $50 sight, we both know you aren't going to need much more than this.If I have any issues with this sight, I will update the review. Until then, buy with confidence.

It looked tough and had great reviews. When the box showed up it was ...
When i got my AR i was excited to buy a reflex scope, After some looking around i decided on this Ozark Armament reflex sight. It looked tough and had great reviews. When the box showed up it was in good condition. I mounted it on my AR and it looked great i was so excited to get to the range. My first time at the range i shot around 150 rounds of FMJ 55 gr .223 rem cheep stuff for plinkin. I got the sight sighted in to where i was hitting where i pointed it at 100 yd in a couple inch group. Needless to say i was thrilled with the sight. When i buy something and it works to expectation I do not feel the need to write a review. ( yes i do know that makes me a hypocrite, as i read reviews to make decisions). I haven't even cleaned my AR and i go to the range a second time. This time my first shot doesn't even hit the paper, wide left. I adjust my sight to get it back to center, and some spring falls out and I can't get it to zero anymore. I have less than 200 rds through my AR and this sight has already failed. I hope this helps.

Looks good, glass is nice and clear
Looks good, glass is nice and clear. Held up through about 200 rounds on a 9mm AR and stayed true.On to the dislikes--2 of the rectiles are clearly crooked which isn't a huge worry since I personally care about the lone dot. Also when the light is on the brighter settings the rectiles look blurry. But for the price I'm happy.
