Excellent. Was able to use it to cut copper alloys and aluminum.

High quality upgrade.

Works verry well, Excellent quality and workmanship. Made my 3018 pro a better machine I mounted a RATTMMOTOR 500W Sindle motor to it, Only disappointment is I lost some engraving area on X axis which I will recover by extending the axis and installing a longer lead screw, Don't know why they did not machine the holder to allow all the movement needed like the original holder has. Only other problem was the z axis was reversed, Easel was able to reverse that in machine set up. Overall verry please with the spindle holder, I would recommend this product.

**Update** To Sainsmart’s credit they offered to refund me my purchase price for this part even though they had no obligation to at all. Customer service 6/5 stars for sure. I do stand behind my review still though - it is still a beefy part but the inability to replace the Y-axis bearings is an issue due to the design. For many people this probably isn’t an issue, but it is something to consider. Upgraded to 3/5 stars due to the tremendous customer support. ———————— Much more heavy duty than the stock unit that comes with the machine. Definitely a better built piece overall. However, it has one major, fatal flaw. The linear rail bearings are absolutely, 100%, nonreplaceable. They appear to be Loctite-ed in place, but worse than that is that the bore that they are placed into has a step down directly in the middle which prevents pressing out the bearing even if there were no adhesive holding the bearings in. I’m not an expert, but this isn’t something I’ve ever seen before, and I’m not exactly sure why they wouldn’t bore the hole a constant diameter completely through. It certainly is not how any other linear bearing hole I’ve ever seen is machined - at least in my limited experience. Regardless of the reason, eventually if these bearings need replacing, you will have to buy an entire new unit because they also do not sell this piece of the assembly as a separate part. For me this is especially troublesome as I have replaced my linear rails with 12 mm rods instead of the standard 10 mm as it makes the machine more rigid. To use this part, I would have to replace my larger rods with the stock, smaller rods which partially negates the reason I bought this to begin with - increasing the overall rigidity of the machine for better performance. I imagine that for the majority of buyers this assembly would be a fantastic upgrade. However for me, the inability to change the linear rail bearings is problematic in multiple ways and prevents me from recommending this as a replacement for the stock unit for anyone interested in upgraded rails or the ability to replace worn parts as needed. For me now, this is simply an overpriced paperweight.

Perfect! Rigid, stepping to new class!

Overall this product appears to be well made. It is much more substantial than the stock spindle mount and the bearings appear to be higher quality - the X-axis operates much more smoothly than the stock mount. Two nice features are the Z-axis manual adjustment knob and the built-in z limit switches. As others have mentioned this is a little wider than the stock mount so you lose a little bit of x travel. The spindle appears to mount lower and farther forward than the stock mount requiring the gantry to be moved all the way to the back of the side rails (3018 Pro). With the spindle mounted lower the lower limit of the Z-axis is the bottom of the aluminum bed - if you add a 3/8" MDF spoil board your z range is about half of the physical z range. The other annoying issue is the z-axis is wired backwards - up is down, and down is up - making me wonder if this will even work in the stand alone mode without rewiring (others have indicated that Easel will fix the problem, but I haven't tried that yet.)

My original unit had a tolerance issue. Deflection that was unacceptable under load. Sainsmart became aware of the problem and contacted me before I could request help. We discussed the issue and how I verified it, with a video of the issue, all within about an hour of first emails. They had a new unit shipped immediately free of charge. It arrived quickly and best of all it completely remedied the issues and improved the stability and quality of the work. When it works it works very well, when it doesn't work they work with you to make it right. Not much more you can ask for.

This is pure garbage. The bearings have a ridiculous amount of play. After 30 hours of run time its louder than the original prover carriage. Then the bearings fail and create unusable amounts of play. When you go to press them out and replace with quality ones you learn that both the z and the x carriage's bearing pockets have internal shoulders which prevent one from pressing them through. They are also pressed flush with the shoulder preventing any tool from gripping the bearing sleeve and pulling them out. 31 days in and i have 110 dollars worth of blue aluminum paperweights and a possibly salvageable stepper. Avoid this like the plague. Ill NEVER buy another sainsmart product except maybe router bits after this debacle. The fact that they'd make non servicable bearings and not choose to use quality ones up front says all you need to know about their ethos. Now i have to start from scratch. Thanks sainsmart!

Ürün kalitesi mükemmel, cnc 3018'in kırılan Z ekseni yerine taktım. Sadece Z ekseninde ters yönde hareket ediyordu, bu durumu makinenin ayarlarından yönünü değiştirerek düzelttim. Limit anahtarının kart bağlantısının ters olduğunu düşünüyorum ama kartın detaylı dökümanına bakmadığım için bu durum net değil. Onun dışında başka bir problem görünmüyor. Düzeltme: Limit anahtar bağlantısı doğru. Keşke Z eksenindekine benzer şekilde X ekseni için de limit anahtar bağlantısı taşıyıcı üzerinde yer alsaydı çok daha işlevsel bir ürün haline gelirdi. Bir başka önemli nokta; motor tutucu üzerinde lazer kafa bağlantısı da yapmak isterseniz 40x40'lık lazerler için uygun değil. Bu durumu bilmenizde fayda var. Bağlantı için 3D yazıcıda bir adaptör basmanız gerekiyor.

très beau matériel, attention à la compatibilité, j'ai une cnc 3018pro, mais c'est le support PROVER qui va dessus. il faut mesurer l'entre-axe des barres de la machine pour savoir quelle version acheter. ce n'est pas spécifié, mais la version PROVER a un entre-axe de 69mm, pour la version 3018PRO c'est 72mm

Porque aumenta bastante la altura útil, permite motor más potente (si os hace falta). No es difícil de montar, pero leed las instrucciones. Tuve un problema con un tornillo del carro que se soltaba. Puesto en contacto con el vendedor me enviaron la pieza completa en siete días. Contento y agradecido por un servicio postventa fenomenal.

Comme le commentaire ci-dessous que j'ai consulté trop tard, l'entraxe fait 72mm (pas 71 ;) ) et donc les montant verticaux de ma 3018 PRO (qui n'est pas une Genmitsu) ne correspondent pas.. donc pour rattraper les 3mm, comme ils tombent dans les trous existants, la solution que j'ai trouvé est de les reboucher à la résine, faire un gabari de percage et repercer les trous avec le bon entraxe..... (travaux en cours, je ferai une photo une fois terminé) si non le matos est clairement d'une autre qualité que la broche en plastique livrée d'origine, ca n'a rien a voir, ca sent le costaud et la finition est irréprochable, je mets donc un 5 car le fait que ce soit pas le bon entraxe n'est pas de la faute du fournisseur, d'autant que je viens de voir qu'il y avait en plus une image avec les côtes ....
