Let's go with problems first, then the good stuff. Took about two hours to put together, as the prongs don't always go in properly, so takes some adjusting and straightening the prongs. The real issue with these is the way they fit together. They have prongs, which go into pressed out little bridges. They really should fit through the bridge, but 50% of them poke through to the front, and quite sharp ... not to be around small children, for sure. You can, if you have three hands and a hammer, tap them in at the bottom while you push down the pieces, so they don't stick out the front, but it's not possible to do if there is just one person putting them together, it also pushes the assembly time to almost double. You can see what I mean in the pic I submitted, the top corner nearest the camera shows one sticking out, and one not. Good stuff: Superb fit overall, sturdy and strong carry an amazing amount of weight with the centre strut, the board is easily capable of handling everything I've put on there so far. I would love to be able to do the whole room out in them, but they don't make one big enough for my large storage boxes, which are stackable anyway - but with my medium sized ones, it's just easier to get them off the shelves than keep unstacking them lol. Using the shelves also means I can go a lot higher, as they only stack 6 in a stack, and here I can put 2x8

These shelves are absolutely fantastic. They hold a lot and were so easy to assemble. Extremely fast delivery and amazing value. If you need extra storage space then I would highly recommend these shelves and this seller.

Good quality metal shelves let down by the thin MDF boards that have sagged under normal domestic garage use. I'm planning to replace the MDF with playwood to make them stronger and last longer.

I had experience of the boltless shelving. If it's new to you maybe watch a YouTube video. Sturdy and stable.

Not good value for money and poor quality and not very sturdy.

We had a unit that looked the same as this but couldn't get it from that seller anymore. That one was actually a lot cheaper. So we bought this assuming it would be the same. It wasn’t. This one had a ribbed design - presumably to make it sturdier - which it didn’t. The gaps between the shelf supports were different and when inserting the shelf brackets lots of them had to be carefully checked and twisted a little To ensure the tabs located correctly. The plastic end caps don’t fit on the top if you have the shelf on the top most point. In all it looks cheaper and less robust than our original and cheaper one. Apart from that I guess it is reasonably robust but don't expect to climb on it ! If you are trying to match an existing one then make sure the brand is the same. This is gloss black and looks a bit cheaper than my original matt black one which has slightly wider side supports. This one looks and feels cheaper but nevertheless does the job. You will need a rubber mallet though as we found the fittings to be a bit harder and temperamental.

Decent quality, worth what I paid for them These will never hold huge weights but for household use with some consideration they should be more than satisfactory
