Love everything about the blower esp. the lightweight and power and variable speed. Battery life on par w other blowers out there, 10 minutes high throttle or much more at lower levels. Value is good but not great as of this writing as I noticed a substantial price raise on Amazon in just the last two months (perhaps due to recent high demand i.e. Hurricane Helene). I do wish the unit had a trickle charge as I hate to worry about having to take the battery off the charger, ---> page 10 of manual - Item J "It is not recommended that the battery pack remain on the charger for more than 24 hours". Other then that great for clearing debris from driveway, sidewalk and roof (including pebbles/twigs), blowing away dried up mud from Hurricane Helene, and of course clearing out leaves from the yard.

This blower has plenty of power, and for me, the battery life is acceptable. I'm not trying to rake my yard with it - just a bit of clean up after mowing or edging, and also I use it to clean my gutters. I like the quick charge time on the battery, and the charger itself is very nice. I added the optional nozzle and I recommend it. Controls are good and it's not too heavy. After using a corded blower for many years I find the cordless nature of this little dude extremely convenient. Has me wondering why I waited so long to get one. Thumbs up!

Worked well but didn’t work long IMO… lasted about 2 years and was used weekly. I would have expected it to work longer. Was relatively light weight and easy to use/charge.

This is a pretty solid blower for an electric unit. Good power and super light with battery affixed. The battery life is the only drag, dont expect more than 15 minutes at full function. The bright side is that the battery pack does charge up quickly. For 99 bucks, couldnt go wrong!

The battery would last longer if you remove it from the blower after use. The blower has variable speeds dial very easy to change speed.

Ok I own Milwaukee Fuel and Dewalt XR. For a cordless blower they both are very expensive.. even though I had their batteries just for the bare tool! This you get A 40V 2.5 Amp hour battery and the fast charger ( which costs $130 on Amazon alone) plus the Brishless 49 amp blower all for $119! That is a crazy good deal. This thing has a ton of power it blew out the entire garage in 25 seconds. The quality is actually great as well as the design. Also you can by a stub tapered cone for drying cars for $10! It’s a real Skilled one not some third party 3D printed thing.. this is easily the best deal for a cordless lead blower. I love Milwaukee fuel and Dewalt XR/Flex volt but this is extremely well designed and manufactured for a fraction of the price. There is a YouTube video comparing all the cordless blowers and this one tested very well compared to the expensive ones. It has tons of power only con is battery life. You will be lucky to get 10 minutes on full blast but it’s 40V power and the charger can charge a half full battery to full in under 15 minutes. 30 minutes for dead to fully charged. If you absolutely needed more you could get another battery. For most people this is all you need. If you need it professionally and you already have Milwaukee, dewalt, Ryobi, with a Bunch of spare batteries maybe go with that but if you just need it for yard work and homeowner type stuff this is perfect.

While this blower has enough power to get the job done, I am disappointed in the battery life. 15 to 20 minutes after I start clearing the driveway the battery is dead. I have a spare battery but it is dead before the first battery is charged. I am rethinking buying anymore Skil products.

for lighting my bbq it's great, runs on low speed unattended. for clearing grass yards of leaves, it's weak even with the accessory nozzle. it depletes the battery too quickly on high speed.
