Perfect fit, very easy to replace broken one. I did it by myself in 15 minutes, 63 yr old female. Very sturdy, good value. Reclining, so far about 10 times a day for 2 months now, no problems.

I thought we were going to have to buy a new couch until we bought these. It was easy to put on and works well. Bought 2 so we have a spare cuz kids are always breaking things.

When selecting a replacement part like this, you need to make sure that the cable is at least as long as the one you are replacing (slightly longer is ok, shorter is not). Also, the length of the exposed section of the cable at the unlatching end is within a few millimeters of the one you are replacing. This one fit perfectly for my couch.

Would be nice if some simple instructions were available. This should help. The cable dies not slip into the handle. You have unscrew the retaining nut all the way. Then place the”T” at end of cable in place on the handle. Then place the cable in the slot. Leave plenty of space between The “T” and the two nuts. Otherwise it will bind when you operate it. Now work on placing the cable to the couch frame underneath. Secure the metal “Z” in place first and then place the rubber grommet in place to secure the cable.

Direct replacement - works well. Had to assemble it using a couple of nuts (included). It works well.

This was an easy fix for a broken recliner. Only a screwdriver required for installation.
