My wife recently discovered soap-making and as lye is a key ingredient for this, eye protection is of paramount importance. All we had were some yellow-tinted range safety glasses so I ordered this box of three, clear safety glasses. These clear safety glasses work perfectly for our needs and were very affordable. The lenses are crystal clear - no distortion at all - and are very comfortable to wear while working. They will also come in handy when I'm doing close-up work in my ham shack.Keep in mind that they are light or light-medium duty and are not the same as goggles.I'm very satisfied with these clear safety glasses and can happily recommend them.
