Phenomenal

Absolutely love this manga. Great characters, great art, awesome combat, and an undercurrent of the "can a robot be alive?" question that seems to be at the root of every story featuring robots that resemble humans (NieR: Automata anyone?).Also great: the little human girl, Roue, shows that she isn't just a princess to be protected but a capable protagonist in her own right.If you like these kinds of stories, you will love Heart Gear. I hope it gets an anime someday.

Great read

Heart Gear Vol 2 follows on the story straight from Vol 1. The art-work is sparse, but detailed enough to follow the story - which is very good. Recommend this series, as it is gearing up to be a classic.
