Not bespoke, but great model and good value
Had a look at the market, for models of the Bluenose. Some cheaper, but poor quality. Others were superb, but at a cost. This model is a 'goldilocks' model. Has some bits of rigging that require some patience, but the finished model is great value and enhances my study.

Generally I like the look of the model however there are some quite glaring non scale parts to the model but would not be noticed by those who don't know how the original was, When I first assembled the masts and rigging (which I found reasonably easy) I found that the rigging at the end of the main boom would not reach the hook on the deck (see attached image) - I initially created an S bend in a piece of thin wire to extend the length so it would reach that hook. I then noticed that the main reason was because the rigging attaching the bottom of the main sail was far too tight resulting in the sail being half wrapped around the boom instead of the bottom of the sail being slightly above the boom as it also was in real life. I unpicked the rigging and 'eased' it out using a spare piece of rigging rope from the kit I was trying to build. This and another 'easing' of rigging allowed the rigging at the end of the main boom to reach the hook on the main deck (see attached image). This was my main complaint about the model and many buyers may not have the expertise to correct it.
